I have worked with Chris Bedell of Custom Remodeling on several projects since becoming a first time home owner in 2010. Chris is committed to excellence, and it shows in his customer service and workmanship. When approached with a project idea, he takes the time to talk with you, find out exactly what you want to achieve, and offers suggestions on how to complete the project in the most cost-efficient manner. He always provides a written quote, and in my experience, the estimated cost has always reflected the final bill. Chris is a perfectionist, and his work is always precise. On the few occasions a project has required a city inspection, multiple inspectors have commented that they know they have nothing to worry about when reviewing a job done by Chris.Chris recently completed a full-blown kitchen renovation project for me that involved hiring subcontractors for electrical and cabinet work, and he proved to be an ultra-effective project manager. When he received an estimate that he thought was too high, he took the time to get a second estimate, rather than just passing the cost on. He was in constant contact throughout the project, and the demolition and remodeling was completed in just four weeks.I have confidently recommended Custom Remodeling to neighbors, friends, co-workers, and even my Homeowners Association!

The most important thing about using a contractor is finding one that does quality work, is honest, who gets the job done on time and within budget. Chris, of Custom Remodeling, and his crew exceed all of those requirements. In addition, Chris approaches the work from the perspective of a partner, listening to your needs and ideas and offering recommendations about how to do it right at the right price. He is a professional, but your project is not just work to him. Chris seems to care about the project just like you do. He keeps you updated and checks on the project daily. To top it off, Chris is just a nice guy. We would recommend Chris without reservation and when we are ready to do other projects, we will use him even if it means we have to wait until he is available.

The quality of work was superior; much better than any other contractor because you have a shafran construction. The materials used were of high quality. The workmen were polite,knowledgeable and always explained in detail when you have any questions. Every aspect of this project was a pleasure and the finished results are fantastic.
