Ok, so I took my white gold necklace and pendant to Custom Jewelers in Southaven to have my pendant soldered. When I picked it up, I noticed yellow spots on the pendant, and the entire chain was yellowed. When I pointed it out to the young man who brought it to me, he said he saw it, too. A lady, who refused to give me her name and told me her family owned the place so I couldn't get her fired (I never claimed that, nor did I ever get rude or raise my voice at her the entire time she was shouting at me, flailing her arms at me, and threatening me because I was on camera--I made it a point to speak calmly), told me that both pieces had been run through the cleaner, and sometimes it strips white gold of the rhodium coating. She told me they could dip my pendant again, but if they tried to dip the chain in the rhodium, it would burn it up. Well, she took the chain to the back again and brought it back looking the same. When I pointed out that it was still the same and had I been informed of that when I dropped my jewelry off, I would have requested they not put my jewelry in their cleaning machine. She then told me I was disgusting if I never cleaned my jewelry (I regularly clean mine and my husband's jewelry). She continued to animatedly and rudely yell at me, then told done young girl, "YOU deal with her because I can't take it when people don't listen to me!" I told her there was no need for her to be rude or shout at me, and she again yelled that I wasn't listening to her. I repeated to her what she had said to me, and she changed her story to claim I brought the chain in yellowed. I did not. Both pieces were WHITE gold. She stormed to the back and told the man back there to come talk to me because she couldn't deal with it, but he refused saying he was too busy to speak with me, the customer. He finally came to the front after she continued shouting at me, and he also claimed he never touched the chain and that I brought it in that way. I told him it was not like that when I brought it in, and he yelled at me that he would swear on a stack of Bibles that it was. (I dropped it off two weeks ago and just picked it up because I was out of town. How can he honestly say he remembers my chain being yellowed when it was just one of many pieces being serviced TWO WEEKS AGO?!!) This is after she very loudly and animatedly told me that it happened when they ran it through their cleaner, they clean ALL the jewelry that comes in, and I'm disgusting if I don't clean my jewelry. He then got smart and loud and said that I was just trying to get a new white hold chain out of them. I told him that had not crossed my mind, that I just wanted mine fixed right. The girl then said it was yellowed even after he dipped it in the rhodium, which she said earlier would burn the chain up. I was told that I would have to return Tuesday to speak with the owners because they just worked there, then I was dismissed. Never have I been treated so badly at a business! I dropped off a piece of jewelry that just need the back of the pendant soldered, and I pick it up yellowed and looking tarnished! My family has done a lot of business with Custom Jewelers, and they made my parents custom pieces for their 50th wedding anniversary. I guess as long as things go smoothly they are polite and professional, but the moment you point out something isn't right, they get down right hateful and begin yelling, lying, and accusing you of trying to get something for nothing. They messed up my chain, and instead of standing behind their work, they became rude and said it was my fault. Think twice before doing business with shady people like that! However, in all fairness, the owners may stand behind their work better than these two did. I don't know though because the lady refused to give me her name and yelled that her family owned it so I couldn't get her fired if I wanted t
