Went to have a head unit installed in my truck. Was told it would be a 2 hour job. HUGE mistake coming here. When I left my microphone still didn’t work or my HDMI input which was one of the main features I bought it for. After waiting over 4 hours for the installation. Didn’t even bother to install my USB port under the dash where there was already a spot for it. Asked where it was. Was told in my glovebox like I can actually use it there 🙄. Brought it back. Was told the microphone was fixed and that they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the HDMI. I bought a brand new cable for the installation so I knew that couldn’t be the issue. 3 hours that time. Left and microphone still wasn’t working and still no HDMI. Went back once more for another two hours. Still nothing fixed. Over $300 for the “installation” and still not working correctly. Finally took it to another audio shop. Cost me another $280 to fix the installation they supposedly did. Microphone wasn’t working because after 3 trips it still wasn’t even plugged in. Best part was the HDMI wasn’t working because it was a tight fit and instead of telling me I needed a different cord he cut and shaved it down and bent it up to try and shove it in there anyway. Bare wire showing where he ruined a brand new cord out of the box and was steadily telling me he didn’t know why the HDMI didn’t work. Guy who fixed it said he’s been doing car audio for 30 years and has never seen anything like that. Installer changed the HDMI cord and plugged my microphone in and now everything works. Absolutely couldn’t have done a more half ass unprofessional job if they tried. They might be able to install a hitch or something simple but to call themselves a car audio shop is a joke. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Cost me almost $300 to fix an over $300 “installation” 🤬

Unhappy Customer - oh well...

I had CTA tint the windows of my project van. When I pointed out areas of concern about the installation workmanship (an end of tint folded out and the irregular trimming dimensions of the tint around factory mountings) the tech became defensive and started raising his voice to me. He told me that he has decades of experience and the concerns I had were dismissible as being "industry standards" in quality. He then dismissed my vehicle stating it was "only a work van." Yes, my van and my money! I was told no one in the industry would have done what I requested (remove/tint/reinstall) the side and rear pop-out van windows. The tech then claimed that I was the only person who has ever complained.
The tech then requested for me to follow him to the office and speak with the manager. When I approached the manager, the tech immediately interjected merely wanting the manager to agree with him by summarizing vaguely my concerns and then asking leading questions of the manager to support his comments. The manager did not inspect the vehicle or ask me any questions. I told the manager I was unhappy with the work and had even stated I would have assisted them in order to produce the results I desired. I had even visited the manager a week prior and advised him of the tint work I wanted and how I could remove the pop out windows to make a factory standard look if needed. The manager sided with the tech and made no concession what so ever to remedy my disappointment. I paid the bill in full and left.
I attempted to file a complaint with the BBB and the inverness Chamber of Commerce however CTA seems to not be a member of either.

Tim the owner was polite professional and a vast experience..he took care of all replaced all four wheels....when i just bought a new high country 2014 i told the dealer not to lift the truck i wish Tim to lift it i trust him with my and passengers.. well being, not just anyone can lift a truck properly and most importantly back up their work.....;]my new truck was just lifted by Tim and staff now i am truck riding high and proud!!!!

Be a smart consumer, don't bring your car here

I went to CTA to get my windows tinted. Went back to get one of the windows redon and some audio equipment put in. When I got my car back the door handle was broken. When I called about it I was told that only two people worked on my car and they didn t do it... then they hung up on me. I called back again and once again said my handle was broken. He said he was the only person in my car so it wasn t him. That means he is a liar who can t own up to his mistakes. I will NEVER suggest anyone bring their car here because you will end up paying for the services done to your car AS WELL AS the damages THEY do to your car
