Excellent Road Bike Deal by DBR - 11/05/2009
They just sold me a road bike a month ago. I went to 4 different shop and they had the best deal. They also did a full fit workup on me including a follow-up stem swap. This is one of the best shops I've been in.

My experience at CS West Bikes has been great. Mindy & Rush willtake the time to get you on the bike that suits your needs and wallet. They will take care of all your bicycle needs promptly. I have to say they go the extra mile to take care of there customers.

In response to the above message, I feel that it is only necessary to correct some information CS West has provided future consumers. On November 25th, 2008 I purchased a Mongoose Otero 2009 model for $750.00 and after my first ride for a cross country trail, pedaling up hill the rear shock blew out. Took the bike back to CS West, Mindy (the owner), said she would have the shock warrantied out. Finally in approx. April 2009, Mindy came into conclusion to sell me the rear Fox shock for another $100.00. After this, with only after 70 miles on the bike, there is a wear pattern on the front fork from bad seals and a defective front fork according to another local bike shop. After trying to contact the store owner after a week and a half who was obviously ignoring my phone calls to fix this simple manner to stand behind their product, I decided to draw the line and go else where. They were very unwilling to stand behind not only their product but the customers' satisfaction. And this is why

I bought a $1000.00 mountain bike from these people and have only been able to put on 72 miles because of the problems this bike has had. Mindy the owner of the shop sold me on this bike and guarenteed its performance. She promised me if I was not satisfied with my purchase she would guarentee my money back. It took over 3 months for them to order my shock that I needed and continuously had attitude when I inquired the status of the parts. What is so ironic about this whole situation is now Mindy refuses to speak with me anymore because she knows how continously unsatisfied with her shop and this purchase she sold me on and doesn't want to give me my money back to make it right. They do not stand behind their product or their customers. I would NOT recommend this bike shop to anyone!

Please take this review with a grain of salt.... We sold a $900 bike for $600 on closeout and we told him that the bike was not set-up for free-ride which is what he does with it (this is an entry level 4" X-Country bike). We tried to get him on the correct bike but he refused.... When he blew up the rear shock we upgraded him to a Fox Float for 1/2 of wholesale.He continues to call the shop (daily at times) and scream at us about the bike. He has never requested his money back.When one of our customers said that we had a pissed off customer online, we knew instantly who it was.SincerelyRush CarterCS West Bikes
