I have been seeing Dr. Jim since I was a kid, which was over 20 years ago. He has always taken the time to talk to me and describe exactly what I need and why I need. He has no problems showing you your x-rays or a picture of a tooth and showing you what is wrong with it. When my wife went to Crystal Lake for the first time, she was very happy with Amanda, the lady who cleans teeth. My wife has gum disease, had it before she saw Dr. Jim, and had NEVER been told to use a water pick! She started using one and her gums stopped bleeding. If she forgets to use it for awhile, they start back up again. Why she was never told about the wonders of a water pick before, I'm not sure. Now I'm not saying this cured her gum disease because she still has it and is being treated for it.Tricia is very good at keeping me on track if I forget to schedule my appointment and she seems like she is happy to answer any of my questions about my insurance. She has always been spot on or very close when telling me what my insurance should pay.The office is very small and has a homey feeling too it. I think I can count on my hands the number of times Tricia didn't know the patient walking through the door. I was thought it was because of the computer, but I've seen her do the same thing when she is in front of the desk talking to me or other patients.I had a change in my insurance a couple of years ago and tried going somewhere else. MISTAKE! I went straight back to Dr. Jim because I thought the other office treated me as a body, not a person.

Any time a dentist tells you that you have more than two cavities get a second opinion.This guy told me I needed five.I went to another dentist and they said my teeth were fine and had no cavities.If this guy needs a new sports car he should get s second job instead of lying to his patients.His staff is rude and unprofessional.Con artist...avoid.

I have been going to Dr. Jim for many years now. I trust him with my teeth and, accept for cap that was more then 10 years old falling off, have never had any concerns. I truly feel that he and his staff care about me. The girl who cleans my teeth knows me and does a thorough job cleaning my teeth - I have never had such a good cleaning anywere else. The staff members treat you like family and listen to what you have to say. Thanks for all you do.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Gassedelen now for well over 20 years. He is very gental, and cares about your health, and enjoys his work. The Dental Assistants are very personable and ready for a laugh as well as doing a great job.
