A colleague recommended Crosby Boarding Kennel. I called to make arrangements and no one answered, so I called back about five minutes later and still no answer. About ten minutes after that I tried back and Karen answered the phone. She was extremely rude to me. In an angry voice, Karen told me that I interrupted her lunch hour and I shouldn’t have called during the hours of 1pm-3pm, and if I would have listened to her answering machine message I would have known that. I admit, if I knew they were closed during these hours I would have waited until 3pm but, I’m a new customer and didn’t know their policy. I was quite astounded that a simple phone call could offend someone so much. I think she was very unprofessional. If a business is closed and doesn’t want phone calls they shouldn’t answer the phone. Don’t answer the phone and get all pissy about it. I was never rude to her. I simply said “I am not happy with your customer service and will make arrangements else-where.”

We used Crosby Boarding Kennel from April 3 - 10/13. We were very impressed at the service we received. Our dog (just a little 9 lb'er) was treated very well. We called almost everyday to check up on her. We were given a tour before we brought her in for her stay. I want to thank Carolyn and Ashley for taking such great care of her. The price is reasonable. If/when we go away again, I'll definitely use them again. Very pleased and they deserve this good review.
