The best home security company in Chicagoland by skalathi - 06/18/2009After getting quotes from ADT and Brink's, I contacted Countywide for a third opinion, after hearing about their excellent service. I am happy to report everything I heard was true. Mike, Tony and Bart are honest, hardworking and professional. Although the prices might be a bit higher for installation than Brink's/ADT, you save significantly on your contract as YOU OWN THE EQUIPMENT. They are also experts in installing wired systems, but cleverly hiding the wiring to give the appearance of a wireless system. Lastly, the follow-up service is exceptional. After a Comcast technician accidently disconnected my alarm system, Mike drove out to Naperville that same day to get me back online. Don't waste your time and money with the big companies. Get better equipment, better service and an all around better experience with Countywide.

A rep came out and and spoke with me about their service with all the options available to me . A system was customized for my specific needs security concerns and budget. I also found out that most security systems are connected by phone to the alarm center and if it was cut or failed it could not call out to the police, so I purchased the back up service also.The techs that came out made sure that I was completely satisfied with the installation. The total cost was significantly lower than my quote from ADT
The way it should be by Harold357 - 03/23/2009One of the hardest things to do is to open the phone book to find another alarm service company after what I had to deal with. But I had no choice. I couldn't afford to leave my businesses unprotected. So I came across Countywide Detective Bureau and I was impressed right from the start. A gentleman named Mike was one of the most directly honest people you will ever meet. He not only told me what I needed, but also what I didn't need. What an experience! He could have told me I needed far more but he didn't. He said security is important, but let's remain practical. That was refreshing to hear. Not only was the installations done well, there were no surprises, extra charges or hidden "fine print." And what do you know, I OWN the alarm system. It's been over a year now and I'm still blown away by the experience. Good work, great service! The way it should be.

I was told about their service from a friend and I must admit, I was surprised by how professional the people were from the beginning of the service to the very end. They are competitive and have affordable pricing, in fact, far better prices than the major name alarm services out there. They keep up with the new technologies in alarm systems. They even have devices that protect your system from burglars who cut the phone line. You can arm or disarm your system, control lights and thermostat, and program user codes from any Internet connection. Real-time notifications let you know when there is activity on any sensor in your home, even if it's not an alarm. After having an alarm system installed in my business, I was so happy with the price and service that I had them install one for my home. I'm more than happy to say, I will be using them in the future.
Excellent Service & a Great Value by Mrs. Roberta - 02/26/2008With Countywide they make sure you understand everything they are doing, plus they don't try selling you options you don't need (they really listen to your needs, don't just offer up a package deal). They work with same equipment the larger companies, such as ADT does, but with much more reasonable pricing. I would recommend them for any security needs large or small.

Thanks to them I was able to secure my business for a cost far less than the other quotes i had. I was was told I Own my system rather than lease it. I was also able to get a lifetime warranty
