Flexible, patient and kind

by happy mama , 11/20/2014

I began seeing Dr. Holmes during my pregnancy last year. I wanted a home birth, my husband wanted a hospital birth. We compromised on a birthing center. Even though he was not delivering my baby (my midwives were), Dr. Holmes gave me thorough, compassionate care. He even came to the birthing center to check on me and baby. He is the pcp for our new baby and we are thrilled with his care. I was not sure I wanted to vaccinate and he took lots of time answering all of my questions and left the decision up to me- without pressuring me. He always treats me respectfully. He is a great partner in healthcare.

Caring and Professional

Dr Holmes and his staff have been nothing but professional and caring. I have seen him throughout my pregnancy and my children for regular checkups and illness. He listens to my concerns as a parent. I would recommend him to anyone.

This is the best family practice center that I have ever been to.

I had to wait for 15 minutes, which I didn't think was bad at all. The doctor was so nice and answered all of my questions. Later that night, my 3 year old was sick and I called the answering service and they got Dr Woodmansee on the phone. Not only did he answer the phone, but he came to my home to see my child!!! He never billed me for this, but said it was just what family practice doctors do... I LOVE this office !!!

Well, lets just say my first visit will definately be my last!!! This place is like romper room! You have to keep telling them what you needed, why you are there, and then thay wanted to know after the 3rd time which Dr. I was seeing. The girls up front have no reason to be there. It would just be easier if you did it yourself. Then there is the Dr. he was in a hurry and just wanted to write me a presctiption. The front waiting area is extremely dirty. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is the most unorganized place ever!!! The lady that runs this place is the rudest most unorganized person ever. Every time you call for her she is on the phone or has not come in yet. She does not return your phone calls. The front end help have no clue what they are doing!!! The nurses sit and talk to each other in the back.... little do they know that you can hear them talking about ther patients! I do not recommend this to anyone. Dr. Woodmansee is very short with his patients, he doesn't listen to you. Just after your money there. Then, when it comes time to getting your prescriptions called in..... what a joke. Mine got sent to a pharmacy that I have never been to. I confirmed with them twice which pharmacy I wanted them to. Also, extremly dirty!!

Also pharmacy problems

On more than one occasion they have said they've called in medication and there has been some sort of problem. The doctors are great. The person who handles prescriptions should get work elsewhere.

Good doctors, poor administration

by Jane Krakauer , 07/13/2012

The doctors here are great. However, I have had so many problems with the front desk calling in prescriptions. They need to get someone in there who can do this in a timely manner. Or if there's a problem with a prescription, you never get notified. Poor coordination.

Went in on a Friday. Was told the medication would be called in to the pharmacy. It was not. Left a message on Saturday. Had to call on Monday because the medication was never called in. Come to find out they called them into a random pharmacy even after verifying the pharmacy with me twice. What ever you do take the prescription with you in your hand. DON'T let them say they will call it in.
