Calhoun Dental is a full service, state-of-the-art dental practice designed to give patients a high quality, safe, and comfortable experience. Our patients are from all age groups and we are handicap accessible. In addition to Cosmetic Dentistry we offer a wide variety of other dental services including Teeth Whitening, Restorative Dentistry (fillings, crowns, etc.), Endodontics (root canals), Prosthodontics (bridges, implants, partial and full dentures), Soft Tissue Management (treatment and prevention of gum disease), Preventive Dentistry, and Oral Surgery all of which are done with the cosmetic approach. We offer a new alternative to traditional orthodontics called Invisalign eliminating unsightly braces.

We are now utilizing a device called the NTI Splint for treating TMJ and bruxism associated headaches.

Whether you are getting a routine teeth cleaning or you are beautifying your smile, whatever your needs, our experienced staff will pamper you through your experience at Calhoun Dental. You will be thoroughly informed along the way of your treatment options and costs before any treatment is initiated. All of our treatment rooms are equipped with color monitors and intra-oral digital video cameras where we can show you magnified live images of your teeth. You can also enjoy watching television during your visits. In the hygiene rooms where the focus is soft tissue management (cleanings and gum therapy), we utilize a high tech ultra-sonic teeth-cleaning system that provides a more thorough and comfortable experience for you. We use the latest in breath control products so your mouth will feel refreshed after your visit. If you want to listen to music during your visit, we have an extensive collection of CD's and headsets for your pleasure. We have soft blankets and pillows if you so desire. Heated lavender infused aromatherapy neck-wraps are another option to make your experience more relaxing. Your comfort is our goal. We will take very good care of you.

Sterilization and infection control is taken very seriously at Calhoun Dental. Whenever possible, disposables are used and discarded. All non-disposables are sterilized in a specially designed autoclave for killing bacteria and viruses including HIV. Our autoclave is checked weekly for its effectiveness. All surfaces are sterile after every appointment. Hand pieces are autoclaved after every use.
