Cool Sunshine used to be our service provider to do annual HVAC inspections until problems with the front office caused us to go with another provider. Our experience has been that it is nearly impossible to get a live person during business hours and even more difficult to get someone to return phone calls when messages are left...even when I am trying to pay for services rendered! For a site that advertises "always on standby to answer any questions", they are certainly not. The front office person (Joyce, I believe) decided that, after complaining to the BBB, the customer was to blame for all the miscommunication rather than possibly think that she could have been the problem. I am in the service industry and that is NOT how you treat your customers. In all the interactions that I have had with various contractors, electricians, service companies, etc, I have never had an experience quite as bad as with Cool Sunshine's front office and for that I would NOT recommend them.

I rarely write a review about any business but this one was so bad that I decided others should know and not share the same fate and misery. We had been using this business for many years doing tune ups on our HVAC system but recently have found it difficult and nearly impossible to get any customer service or call backs. Many messages have been left and not returned, phone calls made and not returned, attempts to make payment attempted and business did not return calls to get their money! I am thankful that I did not have something major done by this company like an installation because if there were any issues, I know I would have an impossible time to get any help or callbacks based on my recent past experience. I told a local distributor my experience and he noted that I wasn't alone in my experiences with this company. One has to wonder about a company that turns around and blames/accuses the customer when a complaint is filed rather than possibly addressing that their might be a problem with itself! Please consider consulting another business before using this one. I have worked with MANY companies before this and have NEVER had one that I wrote a complaint about to the BBB until this one. If this isn't a testimonial and a warning, I don't know what is...CAVEAT EMPTOR.
