Dr. Gerry Soifer and Dr. Nancy Bushnell have been providing quality veterinary care to Encinitas and the surrounding communities for over 30 years.  Our goal is to develop lasting relationships with our clients and their pets.  Your pet will get the benefit of seeing the same doctor for each visit.  Consistency allows us to really get to know your pet and for your pet to know us.  We take pride in what we do.  We will do everything we can to keep your pet healthy and happy.

About Our Doctors:

Dr. Bushnell and Sr. Soifer did their undergraduate work at the University of Illinois.  From there they attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Illinois, graduating in 1977.  Shortly after graduation Dr. Bushnell and Soifer were married and practiced in the Chicago-land area for 2 years.  Preferring an active and outdoor lifestyle, they moved to San Diego in 1979 and never looked back.  For the last 30 years, Dr. Soifer and Bushnell have been practicing at their current practices, located in Encinitas.  Dr. Bushnell and Soifer both feel that they have been blessed with a career that is both a profession, a passion, and a hobby.  When away from the office, Dr. Bushnell and Soifer enjoy scuba diving, biking, running, gardening, and spending time with their five cats.
