I have high speed Internet service with Comcast. Everything has been terrific for over five years! The equipment. The service. The billing. The support desk. No matter what we've needed, Comcast has been top notch! No complaints.

I just got off the phone with a very poor customer service rep in Portland TRYING to get thru to her that we lived 3 hours east of Portland and she just kept trying to find out if we could get service. Believe me that is the LAST THING I would ever want. We have Dish and love it. Again this year if we buy the NBA package thru Dish Comcast is blocking all blazer games.....they say they can't come to an agreement. Amazing how many cable companies HAVE come to an agreement with both Dish and Direct. Comcast is asking too much money for this as Dish has to ask us to pay more then too and with the economy it is hard. I would hope this could change but will not hold my breath. Will tell all of our friends in the Portland area to definitely dump Comcast.

COMCAST really sucks. When you ask for a hard copy of their bill they say that they will send you one but never do. You will be really happy to get rid of them.

Comcast Cable is NOT nor has it EVER been in Ested Park Colorado! It will NEVER be in Estes Park!The calbe compaines that have been ther are: AT&T, Mountain Cable, Charter Communications and since I left 5 yrs ago there is a new company.

If you sign up with Comcast you will regret it. Poor reliablity and all tech support can do is schedule an appointment. They couldn't troubleshoot their way out of a paper bag.You may have been suckered by one of their promotions. Just cancel it when the price jumps up. You'll be glad you did. If you think you'll be able to use the "high speed" internet for logging into work, FORGET IT!!

How can I switch to DirecTV and get a much bigger selection, better picture, and pay half as much? Then I get to face the heavy sales pitch when I call to cancel, not to mention that they will be giving me slower internet service without cable on my bill. What a joke. I recommend DirecTV to anyone who's looking. They came out 36 hours after we ordered it, called constantly to let us know when they'd be here, and followed up with what they promised. Comcast could learn a thing or two.

I have just hung up the phone with Comcast. In July my mother moved into my home and made some changes to my service by calling and pretending to be me. She somehow was able to get past the security code which should be my last four of my SSN. I have just called to ask billing questions and was not able to access my own account because what they have on record for my SSN is NOT MY SSN. It is not my husbans, and not a number that we have used for security in the past. How is it my mother can make changes to my account (not having the security information) but I can't ask questions relating to MY INVOICE! Now I have to drive to a physical location to show proof of Id and my SS Card in order for them to help me. I don't even know where they received the number they have for the SSN, because I don't provide that number to hardly anyone anymore. I agree with other reviews. I pay WAY too much money (especially in this economy) to put up with being treated like this. -

Comcast is fully aware you have no choice but to go with them if you want cable instead of satellite. They take full advantage of this fact by overcharging for their service.Don't even think about trying to work with them if you have an issue. They do not want to help unless you're doing something that will make them more money. We really need some competition out here besides dish.

One Straw away from shutting it all down............... I pay way too much money a month for the type of service provided (cable top package and ISP) and the poor customer support. I didn't like Adelphia, but I definately like Comcast wayyyyy less. At least with Adelphia my issues would be fixed and they did not charge me to come out and fix an issue that I have to call in on every month. And they were not raising the rates continously......... You know, who needs to pay for tv.... turn it off! And for really disliking qwest and vowing to never use them again 9 years ago.... I'm actually looking into DSL

DO NOT USE COMCAST. They will screw you any way they possibly can, it's like they all sit around all day to figure out how to assess more fees, and make things as difficult as possible to get ANYTHING done. I need to leave the country and they are charging me $20/month just to have the service turned off and the quipment stay. If I try to turn in the equipment and I need service later they will charge me ANOTHER set up charge. I'm sickened that we do not have a choice and we are at the mercy of these heartless slobs.

this company has very poor service and its customer service associates are very rude ignorrant and not very innept about there own products and services. when you call them about concern's and they say they are going to document them they mysteriously the notes in your account disappear, they then become rude when you have the name of the person you talked to. and if you have to make payment arrangments on your account they keep calling you even when you have lived up to there arrangments, then they always threaten to shut you off. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE FOLKS GO WITH QWEST AND DIRECT TV OR DISH NETWORK.

I was not going to go with Comcast for cable but...I wanted cable on my TV right away because I had family coming out. I called Direct TV first, they were going to take 2 weeks to get to me. So I called Comcast and told them that I would only buy there service if they would hook it up that day, 3 hours later we had cable.

Comcast is leading the way in deciding what you can or can't do on the internet. They claim to only limit bandwidth hogs, and abusers, but that is not the case. They block legitimate p2p applications, regardless of amount of use.
P2P traffic allows downloads of large files without paying the ISP's for hosting the file. It allows consumers to use the bandwidth that they already paid for to get the files they need. More and more businesses are using p2p to host their files instead of paying ISP's, which is why they are now blocking the industry.
Its a shame, because comcast used to be excellent, but with p2p blocked, they are no longer tolerable, and I will be dropping them as soon as possible.

For ten years, after switching from Qwest, I was a loyal, happy Comcast customer. That's gone now. I'm being forced to switch to their Digital Voice service, and I've made four appointments so far to try to get them to come and make the switch. The first time, they showed up on the wrong day. The second time, they never showed up at all. The third time, a tech came, spent some time humiliating me and being unspeakably rude, and left without installing the new service that they insist that I have. He told his supervisor that I was endangering his life (!), and that's why he couldn't do the install. He also told them other horrific lies about me and told me that nobody would ever allow me to have phone service.

The guy was frighteningly nuts! Comcast is filled with crazy liars who don't want to work for a living. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Unbelievable!

Sign up with ANYBODY BUT Comcast. This is the most horrible experience I've ever had!

I just had Comcast installed this week. I am very disappointed in their customer service. The installers wouldn't run the black cables where I suggested they run them even though it would have been an easier install. The ended up drilling holes in my brand new aluminum siding and runningthe cable across my white siding. It looks terrible. In addition, they want to bill me additional installation fees that the sales person had told me I wouldn't be billed for. After telling me that I would get all the channels between 1 and 99 on the regular cable package and the additional channels with the digital DVR receiver, I found that we couldn't get the Hallmark channel (#69) anywhere in the house excelpt where I have the digital box. She also told me I could get another box for $5. Now I find out that it's $5 per month. I hope this isn't an indication of their level of service in the future.

Comcast has forced us customers to have the "new look "webpage,it's way to cluttered,I cannot close features I don't care for,and every time I go to the main page,I have to sign in.
There has to be another digital cable and high speed internet provider out there thats better than Comcast.

Had Comcast for a long time. Raised our rates and would'nt budge on price. So we went to Direct TV. Now we are getting Please comback direct mail peices for low low low rates. They really need to get their ducks in a row!! All the money spent on getting customers back when they could have saved them to start with. Not so smart!

We have been a comcast member for years and recently switched to their Internet. We find that the connection goes down every few days which can be very frustrating. Also, I think their e-mail is a joke when everytime you have to enter your user id and password. Unlike google and yahoo, comcast requires you to login every time.
