It all started in 1994 ; Cory Coltrin set out to share the central vacuum convenience with households throughout the Treasure Valley. Equipped with a single van, a small area in his garage and a determination to make something of an otherwise unknown product, Coltrin Central Vacuum was born! Within three years he was able to open up a small store front, hire an office staff and installation crew. Seven years later, Coltrin Central Vacuum outgrew their small office and needed something more accommodating, allowing better service for their customers. In early 2006, we built a state of the art showroom and warehouse. The showroom provides a place for customers to come in and try the product before buying and experience hands on benefits of owning a central vacuum system. The warehouse provides better storage of parts, allowing turn around time for installation and service within hours or days, instead of weeks. Coltrin Central Vacuum has received numerous awards throughout the years showing their dedication to builders and the community. We were, also, awarded the largest central vacuum dealer by our vendor several years in a row. From the beginning, Coltrin Central Vacuum's goal has been to provide products that make your life easier and to be equipped with a staff that is dedicated to find the most efficient and financially sound solution to ALL your central vacuum needs. Since 1994 when we first opened Coltrin Central Vacuum in Boise, Idaho, until today as Idaho's largest central vacuum dealership, we have always believed that we should offer the finest products available on the market today that are powerful, flexible, and affordable. Coltrin Central Vacuum now resides in the Coltrin Plaza, with a 1500 ft showroom where you can test out all our products and accessories.
