He graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles in 1974, and is certified in Acupuncture, AK and Activator Methods. With multiple techniques, we can find the one that is right for you—electrotherapy, acupuncture, activator (low force), applied kinesiology and manipulation. With our gentle techniques we can help the newborn with colic or the geriatric and arthritis and degeneration. We will work with auto accident injuries, and your attorneys whether insured on not, with lien, and workman's compensation with referral. Families are welcomed and preventative care recommended. We accept most insurance.
Also on our staff is Dr. Daisy Dong, an experienced practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine. She has taught and practiced for over18 years in the U.S. and China, and treats all common diseases and conditions.
She received her training in classical Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, herbology, Tui na (Chinese therapeutic massage) as well as modern medicine from the Beijing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine where she practiced and taught for seven years. Since coming to the United States, she has received two masters degrees in healthcare administration and has been involved in developing Chinese medicine services in Georgia and Colorado.
Before she joined Colorado Blvd. Chiropractic Center Dr. Dong was an integral part of Helio's Health Center in Boulder and is a senior acupuncturist of the Integrative Medicine, University of Colorado Hospital in Denver. She built on the philosophy of TCM to treat the patient as a whole and joins Dr. Maen and other health care practitioners in regular "round-table" medical discussions of unique cases as well as modeling a complete package of care for all their patients.
Dr. Dong has been a professor and clinical supervisor at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder. She is also an annual guest speaker for the School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, and School of Nursing at Health Science Center, CU. She is NCCAOM certified and a registered acupuncturist in Colorado. Dr. Dong is also certified in Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture and Laser Acupuncture and she has been a professional member of National Stroke Association since 1998 in the United States. She is especially successful in treating migraine, post stroke, fibromyalgia, infertility, chronic fatigue syndrome and cancer, and develops her own protocols of acupuncture and herbal treatment for these conditions.
Massage therapy is available either in our office setting or referral to our caring CMT's.

He has fit me into his schedule on an emergency basis many times, and I always get excellent care. I appreciate his gentle and intuitive method of chiropracty, and refer him wholeheartedly. (Plus, he's fun to be around!)
15 Year With Dr. Maen by Joanna - 09/22/2009I have been visiting Dr. Maen for over 15 years. I first started seeing him as a runner and now see him for monthly tune-ups. He is an amazing chiropractor and I wouldn't trust my neck or back to anyone else!
Oh What A Relief !!!! by John C - 09/22/2009I've been seeing Dr Maen for over two years and what a relief that I've found someone who can get me back to health in a couple of visits. I tweaked my back about a year ago and could hardly sit without being in severe pain. I dreaded the 8 hour drive I had to face to Wichita Ks. In just two visits, I was back to normal. Most recently, I had a reoccurrence of my back pain and once again two visits did the trick. Dr Maen works wonders and I have recommended him to a co worker and she was very satisfied with just one visit. I would recommend Dr Maen to anyone with any type of ache or pain. Never know what he could do for you!!!
He's the "Maen" man... by OKW - 09/12/2009Once I tweaked my back at golf & could barely get out of the cart. On the way home I stopped at Dr Maen's office and he did his thing. Instant improvement. Another visit a couple of days later and I was pretty much better. That experience convinced me. I'm 61 and still playing golf and hockey so this kind of thing has happened many times over during the last twenty years. My wife's been a patient for over 30 yrs! We are big believers in Dr Maen and his concern for our overall health.
