Welcome to COIC.

Our Mission is to provide education, retraining and economic development services to positively affect regional employment, individual lives, the business community and local government.

COIC began serving the residents and communities of Central Oregon in 1972 as a Council of Governments organized under ORS 190 by Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties and Bend, Culver, Madras, Metoius, Prineville, Redmond and Sisters.

Today COIC employs more than 60 people and offers a variety of services ranging from employment training services, altermative high school education, business loans, and community and economic development.

We are striving to meet the needs of Central Oregon.
