First prescription glasses in 1982. 2nd and 3rd eye exams at Clark Eye Care. I forgot my prescription glasses at home, but expected my record to be on file. Lady 'tech' DEMANDED to see the 'glasses' I brought in, which were just store bought 'readers' and not my prescription glasses, and BADGERED me, DEMANDING to "scan" my "glasses".Then the doctor, PRIOR TO PERFORMING AN EXAM, DEMANDED to know exactly WHAT KIND OF GLASSES, reading, distance, intermediate, I wanted him to make for me that day. I repeatedly said I didn't know, told of the doubled images, but he continued to BADGER me DEMANDING specifics so I said I MUST be able to read. Never before have I HAD CHOOSE A SOLUTION BEFORE having an exam into making an uninformed decision. I was then BADGERED for a focal length for the 'reading' glasses.Understand that my vision is not bad to the point that I cannot 'see'...just has a doubled edge that is sometimes deeper or less, mostly straight up and down but sometimes up and down and off to the side as well, depending on how strained my eyes are, and I need to read very small print. After the exam, I was TOLD NOTHING ABOUT MY VISION, only sent to the waiting room to choose frames. I took the first pair I touched because I SO SHOCKED at the SHODDY TREATMENT, I wished I never went there and I just wanted to LEAVE!!! I had to ask the guy who showed me which rack to choose frames from my vision was like and he looked it up in the exam and gave me a##/## response. Nothing about the doubled image edges.Still thinking there was 'another' consultation with 'someone' who would 'inform' me better, I went through the process, still thinking I would go home with glasses as I had done the last time I went to Clark Eye Care. Nope...they should be ready in about a week! I had to take another day to get the exam AND then the glasses!!!The glasses didn't correct the double edge, and I could read the large print on their 'test' sheet...but I could read it without any glasses at all. I told the lady helping to fit the glasses that I would not EVER be back and the reasons why...stated here. I also told the front desk, asked for a written copy of the prescription, my records, and that they cancel the appointment they made 'automatically' without consulting me in any way...I just happened to see it on their website...which did not have my exam results...only what I had 'complained' about, as far as I could tell. The website included a bunch of verbiage about the three things I mentioned were happening in my vision, but NEVER said the doctor found these three conditions during his exam of my eyes! I also told both ladies I would be writing 'a very bad review' of my experience. Both ladies apologized, the eye wear 'fitting' lady 'defended' the actions of the 'tech' and the doctor, but her defense did not fit the circumstances when they occurred. I now have the record, and i will look online to see if I can figure out what my vision is like while I wait until 2016 for my vision insurance to 'renew' so I can go elsewhere...or I can find someone else and pay everything out of pocket. The record has incorrect entries, shows my "previous prescription" as the magnification of the readers...NOT MY TRUE PRESCRIPTION...and contradicts itself!My friends tell me I should INSIST they correct this situation, but I truly felt like THE BARE MINIMUM was being done and don't trust them to CORRECT what shouldn't have happened in the first place. I was told ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I had to cancel a previous appointment with another eye doctor then chose to drive the extra distance, or take the day off work to go back to Clark Eye Care. I guess I made a SERIOUS ERROR in not rescheduling with them when my work schedule finalized.NEVER AGAIN with I return to Clark Eye Care!!! No loyalty to a (now 'former') doctor justifies such ABHORRENT treatment!!! I would give a lower rating that one star, but there is no choice for that!
Great Eye Doctors and Staff

My Wife and I have going to Clark Eye Care about 10 years now and I wanted to say Doctor Clark and Dr. Walton are tops. They take great care of us and have a very clean and inviting office atmosphere. They carry all the best eyeware and the Staff is freindly and very knowlegible. I have recommended many co workers and friends and will continue to do so.Thank You from a very satisfied patientEric C.

Placed a special order with them. I needed safety goggles for work, and my insurance directed me there for the order. I gave them the paperwork and was told my order would take 7-10 business days. After 7 days I get a call saying that I filled out the paper work incorrectly. I went to the office to find out that not I, but they filled out the paper work incorrectly. Their response was "oh, sorry". So two weeks after that I called and asked if they had my glasses, they said they do not have them yet. After I inquired more it turned out that they were shipped there but they can't be located. Anytime I call there the Dr. has either left for the day or is unable to take a call. This is almost 4 weeks now on an order that takes "7-10 days"

I had been to several doctors with an eye condition. No one could figure out what was wrong. After weeks of trying to get this taken care of I finally went to Dr.Clark on a recommendation from a friend. Dr.Clark was fantastic. He stuck with me until the issue was taken care of. He sincerely cared and was knowledgeable of the situation. I absolutely trust him and his assistants to take care of any issue with caring and professionalism. I would recommend both family and friends to Dr. Clarks office. He is a hero.

I have gone to different eyecare offices, but none compare to Clark Eyecare. My families vision corrections have been met with great care by Dr. Clark. We are all very pleased with the fact that we can see clearly with either our contacts or our fashionable glasses. Not only is Dr. Clark kind and courteous, his staff is also. This office makes you feel welcome and very confortable. They are very accomodating to children and adults alike. I would recommend this office to all who are in need of eyecare services.
