Pro: Very uplifting with a strong sense of community and massive choirCon: -very focused on the music and choir, and not much on God.-This isn't a church I would consider if seeking a deepening personal relationship with God. -A majority of the congregation doesn't know/practice the Roman Missal changes-Half the consecration of the Body and Blood was missing.-Bashing of past popes-No focus on sins, simply that the world is doing okay and we have nothing to fear (not with Roman Catholic teaching)Personally, I would not consider this a Roman Catholic Church by the standards it holds itself to in the Mass and their neglect in giving any guidance in becoming a better person on your own. The service is more closely related to a pick-me-up to make you feel good after a tough week at work than to help push you to grow in holiness.

Social Justice?

by not an rc , 09/02/2009

I read the Bible & it has commissioned us to go and make disciples of all peoples....nothing about "going green" and social justice.....

Welcoming and inspiring

I left here wanting to make the world better. They walk the walk with their emphasis on social justice.
