Called to get an appointment for my 5 year old on a filling and talked to a Shelia who was very rude. Then called back to my referring dentist and they said they just got chewed out and were wondering how our call with them went. Definitely not going to send my kids there!

After our 2nd experience with this office, I am now convinced it's them, not me. The first time I brought my daughter to their office from 300 miles away after a scary dental visit at another office. She was terrified of the dentist and we thought a pediatric doctor would be best. After discussing her previous experience and stating multiple times to the receptionist, the hygentist and the dr himself, she was still held down. The hygentist actually came out from the doors and said "If we have this happen again, we will be charging you a $50 behavior fee." I had stated that under NO circumstances were they to hold her down to complete the work. We were also quoted a very high amount of "necessary work". I was very upset and we left the office and instead traveled to Rapid City to Black Hills Pediatric Dentistry, where the work was completed at a fraction of the cost in a much friendlier manner. Thankfully, my daughter has learned not all dentists are bad. We were referred a 2nd time for
Unnecessary Dental Procedures

Friendly atmosphere FOR KIDS, parents are made to feel inferior and stupid. Rude financial people. Refused to see my special needs children because I couldn't pay a bill for "gas" that would make my child more comfortable during a procedure that was only necessary because of a prior procedure that THEY said he needed. Which he really didn't. I've talked to other parents with the similar ideal that this dentist office comes up with more procedures for people on state medicaid than for those who can afford higher rated insurance, making these children suffer through more scary procedure.
