We had taken our 3 month old son for a sick visit in December 2012 on this occasion we had been scheduled with Dr. Lawendy whom we had preferred. At this visit we could hear Dr. Maraghy screaming and yelling at the staff and with another doctor on the other side of the office!! Everyone in the office could hear her stomping from one side of the office to the other slamming doors and acting very unprofessional. The second time we were witnessed to this ridiculous behavior was in February 2013 when we were actually scheduled with her! She was the only doctor in the clinic and my son was horribly sick, we waited for her for an hour in an almost empty waiting room, without even being called into a room, and when she finally got there she was already upset screaming and hollering for an office manager. She vowed she was resigning and that she hated the office, hated the patients, hated Mountain View,whom apparently owned the business, and hated the staff. Everyone including the staff sat in awkward silence when the MA finally took us back. We could hear her screaming in her office apparently on the phone so I asked the MA if we should just reschedule since it was clear the doctor was very upset and I was afraid of how this would affect our visit, she stated it was up to us if we wanted to stay or not. We could overhear Dr. Maraghy yelling that she quit and slammed another door and we could no longer hear her, so we assumed she left. We went up front and rescheduled to the next day with another doctor. As we were leaving we could see Dr. Maraghy driving around the parking lot in circles screaming and yelling. I witnessed her yelling at staff while patients were in the office on 3 more occasions. I don't know how Mountain View could keep such an unprofessional doctor in that office. Its no wonder why they have new staff every other month!! I have finally decided to switch doctors. We love Dr. Lawendy and have seen their new doctor, Dr. Praveen and we love them both but that office is poorly ran and can no longer make emergency sick visits with them as they are always "booked". I have spoken with a few friends of mine who also take their kids to Children's Wellness Center and have the same problem. I would understand why the staff would seem so unhappy, how would you like working with a doctor like this?? If I have witnessed this on now 5 different occasions can you imagine what the day to day work environment is like. Never had a problem with the staff until this last month when I can never get in to see Dr. Lawendy or Dr. Praveen.
Excellent Doctors and Staff

The office staff is excellent and always very attentive to my children and our needs. They always make room for us as a walk in and always are there to answer questions. All of the doctors on site are excellent, especially Dr. Timothy Herndon. We recently moved out of state and have had to call to get records and pay bills and they always answer our questions in a timely manner. My advice is not get there too early because they are busy and you probably won't be seen until your appointment time anyway. Also if they don't return a call right away they are probably busy, call them back later they won't mind. We are very sad to leave such great doctors and staff. Highly recommend them.

Office staff is more disconnected from the practice than I have ever seen. They are not happy in their job and they want to make sure you are not happy when your there as well. They do not return calls and are quit nasty when you do talk to them. I love Dr. Herndon but not sure if dealing with the staff's attitude each time I need my child seen (or even a question or perscription) is worth the agony I go through. I don't know that you could even pay them to smile let alone do their job well.----unhappy office.
