The Chicago Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service was founded more than 65 years ago to be a public resource for competent, professional legal advice and services. Today, the Lawyer Referral Service makes referrals to screened, experienced attorneys in over 45 different areas of law. It is one of few lawyer referral programs in the United States to meet American Bar Association standards for Lawyer Referral and Information Services.
