Hoskins Chevrolet was born in June of 1945, when Thomas T. Hoskins bought the franchise originally called Miller Chevrolet. This first location was at 3301 N. Halsted St., Chicago, at Hoskins existing body shop, "City Motor Service." In September of 1945, Hoskins Chevrolet was moved to a temporary location at 3350 Southport Ave., Chicago, while its permanent location on Irving Park Road was being built. This allowed the "City Motor Service" body shop to continue its operation without the burden of the Chevrolet Company. In November of 1946, Hoskins Chevrolet was moved to its first permanent location at 2015 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago. In October of 1948, Richard C. Hoskins Sr. started with the dealership and became its president in 1962 when his father, Thomas, passed away.

In May of 1969, Hoskins Chevrolet moved to its second permanent location at 175 N. Arlington Heights Road in Elk Grove Village. In November of 1972, Richard C. Hoskins Jr. began working full-time at the dealership, and in May of 1974, Lee J. Hoskins came on board.

The dealership redesigned its showroom facility in 1995 to better service the community.


Hoskins Chevrolet sells and leases new and pre-owned chevrolet automobiles and trucks.

Hoskins Chevrolet provides Complete Auto Repair and has a body shop on the premises.
