Outstanding job!!! On Time Excellent Communication

We spent a long time looking for a wall unit. We were very discouraged at what we had seen in the stores and on-line. We couldn’t find a style that we liked (something that looked great and yet held a lot of storage space) until we found Charlie’s Woodworks. Carlos from Charlie’s Woodworks arrived and we discussed what we were looking for. We had decided on a floor to ceiling wall unit for our den with room for a big screen TV, and shelves to display various items. Carlos drew up a scale picture with measurements, etc. – and we were happy with the results and the price. It is with pleasure that we recommend Charlie’s Woodwork. He is honest, reliable, is always on time for appointments and very pleasant to work with. His attention to detail, the workmanship on the unit, as well as his professionalism and ethics, are impeccable! Our wall unit is everything we could have hoped for. Originally, I needed two wooden cornices for my breakfast area. I increased the order to include a built-in bookcase for my small study. Charlie's work is meticulous and flawless. He gives great attention to every detail in the construction, finishing, and installation. He gave me lots of opportunities to change my mind, but his recommendations were usually too good to ignore. His time estimate was right-on. The cornices and bookcase are beautiful. You can't go wrong with this conscientious, and very capable businessman.

Initially my wife and I contacted Charlie's Woodwork because of a small project. Because of fast and professional service, we decided to ask he install beadboard around our daughter's princess bedroom. He did an excellent job! He handled some difficulties (e.g. radiant heating baseboards) professionally and, frankly, creatively. We live in NE Heights in Albuquerque and could not beat the professional service with any other company from whom we asked a quote. We definitely recommend Charlies Woodwork 5 out of 5 stars!

Charlie has great talent in working with wood. The cabinets looked flawless and perfert. Everthing fit as it should. He completed our cabinets within the agreed timeframe. He is polite and respectful. I would gladly recommend Charlie to anyone needing cabinets/woodwork.

I initially contacted Carlos to refinish my bathroom cabinets, but after viewing his portfolio and reading the recommendations, I decided to have him build me a new vanity. The final product is not only gorgeous but it's the showpiece in my renovated bathroom. Carlos was so professional and considerate. Everything came out exactly as promised. He met with me several times to get the color right, and he suggested slight additions that made the finished product so much better. I highly recommend Carlos Barragan's work.

From the onset, Carlos was amazing. He came to our home and met with my wife the same day she called and met with me later in the evening. He was punctual and polite, and engaged us in conversation aimed at soliciting our cabinetry needs. Throughout the process, Carlos worked around our schedules and called us frequently to update us. He would bring us finished samples for our approval, and he was exacting in meeting our requests. Even after beginning the project, Carlos would contact us and offer us the opportunity to change our mind—amazing customer service. When installing the cabinets, Carlos was meticulous; he would tirelessly measure and re-measure to ensure perfection. Once complete, the cabinets are beautiful. Carlos’ work was flawless, his prices are competitive, his customer service is unchallenged, and his work is impeccable. I do not believe that my wife and I will use anyone other than Charlie’s Woodwork for our future woodworking needs.

We were extremely delighted with the excellent custom cabinetry Charlie’s Woodwork built and installed during the recent remodel of our kitchen. Mr. Barragan’s excellent perception, thoughtful recommendations, quality craftsmanship, fine finishing and meticulous attention to detail are exemplary in the art of fine woodworking.The kitchen cabinets were a challenge, since few of the dimensions were standard. In addition, some of the walls were adobe and therefore neither plumb nor flat, which provided an addition challenge for mounting and trimming. The large island offered another challenge because of its requirements for the sink and additional storage shelves. For all of the work, Mr. Barragan saw the vision, gave us some wonderful options, met all the challenges and produced the beautifully-designed and crafted bases and wall units with all the drawers, doors, knobs and trim which exceeded our expectations.We highly recommend Charlie’s Woodwork for custom cabinets.

When I decided to redecorate my den, I realized I had specific needs for storage and for displaying photographs and art pieces. I made a design of a piece that would suit my needs and began searching for someone to turn my ideas into reality. When I met Carlos Barragan, I found him to be very personable and professional. I was impressed with the portfolio of his work, his references, and his A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I especially appreciated the suggestions he made to make the piece more functional and attractive. Carlos kept in contact with me as the work progressed –- keeping me updated and involved –- and he delivered in the time frame he promised. The finished piece of furniture far exceeds my expectations. Carlos took my ideas, which were utilitarian at best, and turned them into a piece of fine furniture.
