Since 1977, Cedar Lane Kennels has been owned and operated by Peter and Susan Gabor. They have a staff of six to ten dedicated, dog-loving employees, who pamper your dogs to no end.

We are licensed and inspected by the Pet Care Services Association, formerly ABKA.

All of our guests are housed in individual indoor/outdoor enclosures. Indoors it is climate controlled, providing heat when it's cold and air-conditioning when it's uncomfortably warm.

All dogs have three types of bedding to choose from. We offer thick and soft wall-to-wall rubber mats, doggie cots or doggie benches to rest and sleep on. Our bedding can be topped off with fresh towels that are changed daily.

The outdoor exercise areas are shaded, covered, double locked and surrounded by a six foot high chain link fence. In accordance with state law, the surface is concrete so as to provide a more sanitary environment for your dog that is easy to clean.

Outdoors, the dogs can see each other through the chain link fencing. They can talk to one another, run next to each other or ignore one another while enjoying the fresh air. They can have up to four hours of outdoor time each day (weather permitting).

Doggie Day Care is available Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We specialize in customized Doggie Day Care. Customized means we (one of our trained and qualified staff members) will play with your dog one-on-one just like you do at home.

We don't believe in putting strange dogs together to play. This may lead to disagreements, confrontations or a scuffle and an injured dog or two. Also, a good way to prevent dogs from passing germs.

We offer three types of Day Care Packages: Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The Gold Package includes two (2) 20 minute play sessions (spaced out) during the day, and a 20 minute walk.

The Silver Package includes two (2) separate 15 minute play sessions, and a 15 minute walk.

The Bronze Package includes two (2) 10 minute play sessions, and a 10 minute walk

All packages include a light lunch and a special treat, our Super Health Snack: dog biscuits dipped in creamy peanut butter, sprinkled with flavored vitamin powder and topped with moist, crumbled liver treats.

The grooming shop at Cedar Lane Kennel is second to none. Our professional groomers can do it all: poodles, terriers, Schnauzers, hounds, shepherds, retrievers, setters, and more. Mixed breeds are also beautifully and creatively styled and groomed. We use more than a dozen different shampoos, conditioners and dog hair products for different types of coats and skin conditions.

As part of the grooming process, all of our customers get their nails cut (no nail polish) and ears cleaned. Each dog is brushed and combed out, de-matted, anal glands are emptied on small breeds, and each dog is shampooed, rinsed and fluff dried.

Stylish and seasonal bandannas adorn all of our groomed clientele.
