On May 3, 2012 I Broke down on I-5 near MP 71, after calling AAA they gave me a choice of 4 of their AAA approved Repair facilitys. I chose Caveman Towing/Lonnies Texaco. The tow truck showed up within 30 minutes & got me into Grants Pass to their Shop. Will Neill the mechanic figured out the problem with price of what it would cost. Then proceded to work me ahead of 2 jobs he was working on so I could get back on the road & make the family reunion I was enroute to. I Highly recommend the towing as well as the repair side of business.

Called to get lock out service. Very nice dispatcher made me feel at ease & laugh, as he stated that I was only the 7th person of the day to lock keys in vehicle. Operator arrived in less than 10 minutes. Had it open in 4-5 minutes & I was on my way.

Was involved in an accident on April 13 2012. Caveman Towing was dispatched.Arrived in a clean looking tow truck, with a very experienced driver. He hooked up my car and went the extra mile to deliver me home, about 2 miles out of his way. John also helped me unload my 3 bags of groceries. Would like to thank John & Caveman Towing for making a bad day just a little brighter.

I used service Caveman for towing commercial truck and paid $ 1390 FOR 29 MILES towing truck I was 15 MILES far from Cavemen Towing .The service was bad and serviceman .caveman was like company rude hi did all kind staff to get more time because they charge per hour . Next day I got towing truck with towing service from Portland .This guys charge me for $ 1300 too bat they tow my truck 400 MILES from Portland to mile mark 99 I-5 and back to Portland ,I call Cavemen Towing try to talk with supervisor or owner bat no way this is CAVEMEN TOWING

At first I though the name CAVEMEN was kind of funny. But thinking of my experience with this business, it seems like an ironically apt name. The guy who came what a a very mean old man. This is just the best way to say it even though I have nothing against people who are older - hey, I am not that young myself. But this guy was just rude and mean and sarcastic and abrupt from the second he arrived to the second he was gone. Since I already had a dead car, I was already having enough problems and didn't need this small minded cretin to add to the days woes. Go somewhere else if you can. This business deserves to lose customers because of the way they treat people.

On my way south to San Francisco for the holidays, my car battery died somewhere in the snowy mountains in southern Oregon. A 20-year old female, I was tired, panicky and freezing cold. To top that off, I had no idea where I was. I called Caveman Towing who not only had to deal with finding me based on the very little information I had regarding my location, but also had to deal with me calling multiple times. They we calm, polite, and responsive. They answered all my silly little questions about my car and I could tell they really cared and understood what I was going through. If you're ever in trouble in Southern Oregon, these are the people to call.

These guys are great. Super customer service. No problems at all.DO NOT CALL OR USE GRANTS PASS TOWING & REPAIR located in Merlin, OR. Their customer service is lousy, and the owner hostile. Avoid them at all costs!
