You guys Gettysburg is basically being known for far travelers to ghost hunt. This place is great for it. we caught a few things our self on our stay. This property is there's to do as they please. They kept a lot of the antiques but a bar near the dining area is suppose to look like a bar. My opinion great price and good drinks. They stayed up talking to us telling us a ton of stories even a late night tour and walk down the street. They are very good host and I would go here again. Most people need to realize the way that Gettysburg history is great for ghost hunting or to see if you kind find something after life.

Yep, gotta agree with the others. The Cashtown Inn near Gettysburg sure ain't what it used to be. The previous owners were awesome! These guys, well, not so much. I mean, they have a picture of some baseball player hanging behind the bar! What happened to all of the "Civil War" stuff? You know, the reason the Cashtown Inn is famous? It's all gone! :( The food is mediocre and very expensive. Four of us in the restaurant, $120! Do not waste your money going here unless you like people who are rude.

I agree with the other reviewer. We just returned from a stay in the Cashtown Inn. It is not the same as it was when I stayed there years ago. These owners are rude and greedy! We stayed there for 1 night and then moved to another hotel. And the breakfast we were provided with was nasty and cheap.
