Great Clinic by Maggie Turner - 10/03/2009My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Cascade for the past four years now and have nothing but good things to say about our experience there. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and you would be hard pressed to find a doctor as compassionate and caring as Dr. Hansen. Before we lost our 14 yr old dog last year to cancer, Dr. Hansen not only went over all of our treatment options but took the time to talk to us about how we could make the most of our time left with her. She was not only concerned about making sure our dog was as comfortable as possible but she also cared about how we were doing and helped us through the difficult process. I would HIGHLY recommend them for both routine care or for more serious health issues.
I love this place! by D.B. - 10/01/2009My cat had issues with one of his eyes since he was a kitten and the place I was taking him couldn't really tell me what was going on. After three years of hearing they didn't really know what to do I went and saw Dr. Hansen at Cascade. Not only did she find out what the underlying issue was but was able to completely correct it! I feel like she really took the time to listen to me and really cares about the animals she treats. I won't take my cat anywhere else now!
littlt gripe by brigitte pitkin - 09/09/2009I was looking for a relatively low cost way for my 12 year old dog to get his rabies shot and talked to the receptionist in person before bringing in my dog how much it might cost. Even though I said my dog was a Husky I was quoted $12 for nail clipping. I also was not told that a fecal exam was not part of the total sum.All in all it came to over $100 for that shot.I realize there are issues of liability, but the exam truly was a weigh in and listening to the heart. I realize this may be the way it is, but money was an issue for us and I felt I was quoted the very minimum. I can see why people forgo shots for their animals if it is tied to a costly and sometimes unnecessary exam Those of us who love our animals know, when they are sick and we know when they are well. It would be nice to find someone who will trust us to know the difference and give an animal just a shot to comply with health regulations. I hear a lot of : We do it for the sake of the animals - but I am sure a bo
