CASA MIA has been in Tavares for a number of years and have now moved to new quarters. Often something gets lost in such a transition but happily this is not the case. The taste and tradition has transplanted well. CASA MIA still has the best bolognese sauce I have had in Florida. The food is as traditional as the Italian food you would get in the "Little Italy's" of Boston or New York. Not fussy, just delicious. The wait staff is mostly family members who treat you like family after a couple of visits. The new venue still has some problems with reflected sounds making the noise level a bit too loud especially if the dining room is full. I suggest you make reservations, especially on the weekend.
