Carroll Refuse Service was founded 25 years ago by John Lampe in Carroll, Iowa. It started as a small individually owned company and grew into a large family operation. Fifteen years ago, Joe Lampe became partners with his brother John, and together, they built the company into a reputable and reliable trash hauling service. Seven years ago, John left the company to pursue other business opportunities in Springfield, MO, and Joe has retained full ownership since. Joe and his wife, Lisa, reside in Carroll with their five children—Lucas, Max, Ben, Emily, and Ryan. The company is centrally located in Carroll and provides service to Carroll, Calhoun, Crawford, and Sac Counties. Carroll Refuse Service currently services 6,400 residents on a weekly basis. We also provide service for over 300 businesses and nearly 400 rural customers. Carroll Refuse Service is dependable, hard-working, and knowledgeable of the rules and regulations concerning solid waste disposal.
Our goal is to provide exceptional service to the communities, residents, and businesses that have placed their trust in us. We are dedicated to consistently putting our customers first and believe that we have an essential part in bettering the environment. We are mindful of having the most cost-effective waste management solutions for our customers while maintaining the high quality of service that they expect. Today, Carroll Refuse Service has 11 team members that are dedicated to the needs of our customers. All team members are local to the towns that we provide service to. We pride ourselves on prompt and friendly service and our outstanding relationships with the town and businesses that we serve.
