I was introduced to Caranza Stone by my really good friend. I contacted Dante and advised him that I was looking to add Granite countertops in the kitchen of my new home in Elgin. Dante advised me that he would have someone contact me so that they could comeout and give me an estimate. On our scheduled date Victor arrived on time (he even called me prior to his arrival to let me know he would be there within the next 30 min). I had nearly 100sq ft of counterspace, and even Victor said, "yes you have quite a lot of countertop. I asked VIctor did he bring me some samples and he politely informed me that they dont have samples because you "really need to actually see your slab (or in my case SLABS) so he gave me a list of suppliers where I could go and "pick out my slabs" . Victor made some suggestions as to which color/type of granite I should look at so that I stay within my budgeted amount. - I also got quotes from Precision Strone (who seemed less interested in my business so even though they came in with a stone that was cheaper in price - they nickel and dimed me with every other item, so NO BUSINESS FOR THEM)... I went to american granite and spoke to the people there who were equally as nice and knowledgeable - selected (after 3 trips) my slabs of choice, and called victor. We arranged a date and time for install - Not only did Victor an his crew arrive on time on th date of install, they were very professional and EXTREMELY POLITE young men. the were handling the stone like they were placing it in a member of their famies homes. They cleaned up (all the dust and debris) polished and buffed that granite so two months later it is still shining. I cannot wait to have them come back out and redo the granite surrounding my fireplace: I am looking forward to it. My kitchen looks BEAUTIFUL..... If you want to upgrade your Kitchen and not spend a FORTUNE, Caranza Stone needs to be the FIRST CALL YOU MAKE.
