This center does not accomplish any goals of helping patients. When they say they are only there to stabilize, thats bout it. They have horrible rooms, but worse confrontational nurses especially unit 2. especially one named Latoshya.I can't say for other units. Nobody seems professional. Even the receptionist Laura is so rude any time she is talked to. Doctors do not give a diagnosis. They want your money but don't deliver. You would hope that a patient would receive help so they would seek help there again if needed. That won't happen.
HR Director efficiency
by plwomack , 07/12/2012
I am sure the doctors are outstanding, but the HR Director needs to do more than check one reference on his prospects. He also does not give the prospect the benefit of the doubt or check further into history. Shame on him, he should know better. There are plenty of unethical, unbusinesslike employers out there who will report false information for past employees they have replaced with their friends. If you bother to check other history, he would find this out.
Carolina Center for Behavioral Health

I was admitted to this facility on 7/18/2011 to 7/27/2011 for depression. The beds were unbearable ,mine was box springs, got stuck in shower with no help, money stolen, made fun of, furniture in main lobby that was shabby, staff lied to me outright, no help with constipation, had to thow up to get relief from the constipation, let their "favorites" have certain privileges such as going into their station, using the phone anytime they wanted, etc. no reading materials, had the only TV fixed to were it only played old VCR tapes, which were only a few of. Begged for pieces of paper to draw on. Almost got killed several times, illegal drugs, no exersize, stupid classes, one of witch was flowers growing from seeds? They would not allow me to have decent clothing that my husband brought. Gave my family hell that tried to call in to check on me., changed my depression meds, did not get meds for fibromyalgia that I needed. This had to be worse than jail. Come on, they can do better.

I was here on an inpatient basis, then as a an outpatient. The resources available at this facility are top-notch, and just like anything else in life, one benefits from them to the extent that one invests in them. I am so glad I had the opportunity to experience this life changing program.

The facility and food is good.the treatemnt is top notch, but the staff is somewhat disrespectful and some of the staff does not show any care for the patients recovery, but rather just want to get paid.

My Son has been an inpatient at this facility for 4 days. They have lied to me and him, passed on confidential information, refused to give me information, did not answer the phone-had to call back numerous times to get someone to speak with. I have been laughed at when I called and asked them to "take care of my Son". Dr Sanchez refused to call me back as I requested even after the nurse called him and told him I wanted to speak with him. Made fun of my Son by saying "You are a grown man, why do you have your Mom involved" My son has PTSD from fighting in Iraq and having traumatic experiences pulling his dead Sgt and severly wounded soliders from a burning Humvee and is being treated like garbage! Nice compasion from a Mental health facility-YOU GET A BIG FAT "F"
