I love having a convenient, centrally-located music store right in downtown Carmel. My son has taken lessons at Carmel Music Center for several years and I am very pleased with the convenience of scheduling or rescheduling lessons and especially with the knowledge and professionalism of his teacher, Aaron, whom my son respects and admires. I rarely have to remind him to practice and Aaron seems to challenge him and keep him moving forward. I will say that although they seem to have a wide range of musical instruments, sheet music and accessories for guitars, like amps and straps, and even extra strings, I have found that all of these things can be purchased elsewhere for less. Sometimes out of convenience we will buy our music items here but if I have more time and it can wait, I tend to go elsewhere for extra strings and smaller items. Guitars, too, tend to be on the pricey side, although we have purchased at least one of the three we own at this store. Overall, the staff is friendly and professional but we pay extra for the small-town convenience of this store.
