Visited Cape Quality Rest. tonight. The food is awesome. Craig the new chef puts pride in everything that comes out of the kitchen and it shows. Nothing fancy as far as atmosphere but the food is why we go. For a GREAT meal at reasonable prices try it.You won't be disappointed !!

Four of us dined there 4-5-2009. Arrived @ 7 pm there were a few other customers in the dining room but by no means was the place hopping. The sign as you walk in say's Please Wait To Be Seated. Thats exactly what we did because there was no one around to seat us. Finally someone from the kitchen came out into the dining room, completly ignored us while she waited on the seated customers then disappeared back into the kitchen again. Just as we were ready to walk out and go elsewhere she re-appeared and finally seated us. The Clamboil was way overpriced compared with other restaurants in the area with potatoes as small as marbles. The Baked Stuffed Shrimp was overcooked and dry, the stuffing was actually burnt, what a waste of hard earned money. The waitress was rude and loud and wouldn't shut up about the overcooked shrimp dish. She did offer to replace the meal but was everyone else supposed to sit there until I got a replacement? By the time she did return to ask about the meals everyone else was almost done with their meals. Maybe if the waitress had spent less time socializing with other customers things might have been different.I woulkd not recommend this reataurant to my worst enemy.

I went here on Valentine's Day with my guy and we had the nicest time. The food was excellent and the service was exceptionally good and they were quick even though they had a full place and a waiting line of 20 minutes. We got in rather qiuckly and seated. The food arrived fast and hot and there was plenty of it! I had their scallops and I have never had better ones. I would recommend this place to anyone. When we left I was given a red long stem rose by our waitress ... it just made the night perfect as this was our 1st Valentine's Day dinner together. I will always cherish and remember how special this was for us. THANK-YOU!

You don't know what you are missing until you move 700 miles away and realize just how fresh and delicous Cape Quality Seafood really is. To think that these folks in Spartanburg, SC think Quahog is the name of a town on Family Guy and don't know that it is a delicous bi-valve clam that taste so good stuffed (stuffies) with spicy chourico stuffing.

But the best is the price of the fish & chips regular plate and just how much food you get your for your money. You might have to wait outside if it is busy, but it is worth a little wait. Otherwise call ahead and order take out. They even do that right!

What I wouldn't give for a cup of chowder, quahog-spicy, and plate of Fish & Chips right now!
