No place for your best friend

    by greytpals , 09/04/2007

The staff is rude. I have no idea why people leave their dogs here. I have been several times to drop off and pick up a client's dog and have never been treated kindly. They must think that the smell of bleach is reassuring . . . not true. There are much better products to keep a kennel clean. Smelling bleach that strong is not good for you or your dog. Take your dog to some place that actually LIKES dogs and people!!!

Big area for dogs to run

Lots of running room. Pretty restricted drop off and pick up times for boarding.

I Wouldn't Trust Anyone Else with my Dog

    by Ellen , 03/19/2009

This place is amazing. I heard about them through a friend and have used them ever since. My dog is very shy, and when I dropped her off for the first time, the staff were all so friendly and sweet to us. They went out of their way to make me feel extremely comfortable leaving my dog in their care. I've taken my dog back many times since, and as we turn into the driveway, she starts to get excited. She absolutely loves the staff, and I do too. These people know what they are doing, and I am so glad that I have found somewhere to leave my dog while on vacation. I know she is getting the best care she could possibly have.

    Thumbs Up

I unknowingly dropped my dog off with some irritation to the pads of her paws. For the week my dog was there, the staff took extra special care of her paws, and I was very thankful to learn of this when I picked her up. These people not only run a wonderful boarding facility, but they clearly care about your pet. Thank you all so much for always taking such great care of my dog.

    too cold for poochie

    by poochies mom , 11/13/2010

My elderly dog recently stayed at the Canyon who is also on medicine for arthritis, I gave instructions that she needed to stay in most of the day because she does not like the cold and she can barely walk because she has arthritis, when I went to pick up my dog not only did she come from outside her belly had frozen snow on it and once she was home she could barely walk. How would the old ladies who run the place like to be outside all day in the cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easily our Favorite Place for our Dog

    by City Folks , 11/11/2010

We have boarded our miniature dachshund at Canines Canyon ever since it opened, and would never go anywhere else. Natty and Estelle and the rest of the team have been terrific - friendly, helpful, and have given us very special attention. They care about us almost as much as they care for our dog, and sometimes it seems like she (our dog) would rather stay than come back with us. They also make sure that all dogs are current with their shots, so we feel that our dog is in a very safe place. Even though we now live in the city, it is worth the drive to take her up to Canines Canyon. It is a pleasure to work with them, and we look forward to using them in the near future.

Great for the Dog, Horrible for the person

    by Vivalaresistance! , 03/05/2010

This place does a great job at grooming our dog and the price is great. Estell at the front desk however is the rudest person I have ever talked to. Both my wife and I are treated extremely rude EVEY time we call/ go in. I wanted for a long time now to call the owners directly and complain untill I read the homepage stateing that she is there sister. She is horrible to people and she makes you feel like your stupid every time you call. We grit our teeth and still take our dog due to saveing some cash but if it wherent for that I would tell this lady off! Someone needs to!

    Our dogs LOVE THIS PLACE!

by Bernese Mountain Mama , 11/09/2010

We started bringing our boys in when they were just puppies, and now they're both four years old - we use their daycare and grooming facilities mostly. The best way to gauge the quality of dog-care, in our experience, is to see your pets' reaction when you bring them there. And our boys literally RUN INSIDE - they cannot wait to go there! We highly recommend Canine's Canyon to anyone who loves their dogs...

I belive her name is Estel, very very rude to her clients

by not happy in the canyon , 11/09/2010

Recently I took my dog in to be "socialized" as was treated as if I was a moron by the lady at the front desk, I believe her name is Estel. She was rude, kept cutting me off and talking down to me as if I was a child. Come to find out my dog spent the four hours locked in a kennel because her staff was busy doing other things. I do not recommend this facility to anyone.
