We are members, and enjoy the train excursions offered. We also enjoy the presage offered to members for the polar express train during Christmas.

My son and husband go here all the time! There is a great kids area with like 6 train tables for kids to play at! Many interactive exhibits and trains you can board! Simulator trains and new exhibits often!

My kids always love coming here. So much to explore and see and a great amount of local history. Love coming here.

My son can't get enough of this place. I highly recommend becoming a member. It pays for itself quickly. We love taking the train ride in the summer. Polar express was amazing last year. We have also done spookamotive.

The yearly polar express train ride is outstanding. We have gone every year for the last 8 years. We all love it. The el dorado car is beautifully maintained and the actors are so much fun to interact with.

Such a great place to go to check out the old engines and railway cars. So much fun looking at all this stuff.

Loved it!! Had grandsons birthday there. Very clean excellent staff and the prices where fair lots of hands on activities for the kids and you can also rent it out for events. Great location

Fun for everyone to see all those trains. Little ones love playing with the trains upstairs. There are always so many volunteers around to answer your questions. It's not the most exciting museum I've been to, but it's fun for a couple hours.

The California State Railroad Museum is a fun place to go, and very interesting as well. The docents are exceptional and patiently answer questions.

My son loved this place when he was a toddler as did my father in law. My son really enjoyed the upstairs with the model trains.
