Now celebrating our 35th successful year, Café la Cave has a beautiful new look.

The newest dining room, La Mere, is a lovely new space with its large bay windows and the Italian marble fireplace as the focal point of the room. Sparkling chandeliers provide romantic lighting. and live piano entertainment adds to its beautiful ambiance. Comfortable oversized booths and graciously spaced tables make this one of Chicago-land's most unique and spectacular dining rooms.

La Cave is another unusual dining room with its beautiful bar and unparalleled cave-like walls and dim lighting. It is the ultimate setting for a truly unique, romantic experience.

Chef de Cuisine Jeff Myers has put together a new menu which melds classic continental and classic French cuisine. It is well thought out and expertly prepared. The same menu is offered in each distinct dining room.

The menu begins with Cold Appetizers, such as Chilled Oysters
on the Half Shell or House Smoked Salmon. Hot Appetizers offer many options. Escargot Bourguignonne is simply perfect. French helix snails bathed in a delectable burgundy garlic butter sauce. It is amazingly delicious.

There are several soups and salads, including Bibb Lettuce and
Fresh Fennel Salad with Mandarin Orange and Raspberry Almond
Vinaigrette dressing. The Lobster Bisque is lusciously delicious
as is the Classic French Onion.

There are several Café Signature Selections. Perhaps the most popular is Steak Diane. A center cut strip loin prepared table side and served with wild rice. Chateaubriand Bouquitiere is beef tenderloin roast, carved table side, served with bèarnaise and hollandaise.

There are numerous seafood selections as well. Including Dover Sole Francaise, Pan Seared Salmon with spinach and Champagne-Tarrahon Sauce.

Café la Cave continues to be a Winner of the "Wine Spectator Award of Excellence" since opening.

Café la Cave is directly across the street from the Allstate Arena,
is minutes from O'Hare airport, Rosemont Theater and numerous hotels.
