This was my 4th time to visit CACC. I have had both knees and hips replaced. This time it was for a knee that was not strong and would not bend enough. I had fallen many times over the last few years. The therapists started exercises to strengthen and bend my knee Everyone was great to work with. They pushed just hard enough and today my knee bends much better and is much stronger. Best of all "no more fall"!

Very Pleased With The Results

Upon suffering a severe muscle tear in my lower left leg that left me sidelined for several weeks, I went to CACC’s location in Meridian for physical therapy. I found all the staff (Paul, Mark and Kelli) to be very professional, friendly and knowledgeable in diagnosing, treating, rehabilitating and ultimately strengthening my legs and improving my balance to help prevent reoccurence. Thanks to their care I’m now fully recovered and back to the active lifestyle (such as racquetball, hiking and cycling) that I so enjoy. I highly recommend CACC Physical Therapy and I’m extremely pleased with the results I obtained under their treatment, care and guidance.

Dry needling whatever it is works

I have two bulging disks in my upper back that cause pain, burning and numbness that goes into one arm. Instead of a risky fusion recommended by a neurosurgeon, I opted to try conservative treatment like physical therapy and massage. I got a lot better and avoided surgery! But sometimes the arm/hand symptoms flared. During a bad flare Jeff Moriarty treated me with trigger point dry needling in April. I don't know how it works, but it completely stopped that flare and with only one treatment my symptoms improved immensely.

As a Business owner myself I know when I come across bad business. My name is Robert & I own and operate Extreme Hitch in Denver and treat my customers very well (ask around), unlike CACC. I had to undergo rotator cuff surgery back in April and to this day my customers are asking me how everything is coming along. I always put the customer first, read my reviews. CACC on the other hand has some shady billing and changes their fee once your deductible is met. I changed insurance policies so I had a new deductible to meet. CACC wanted me to sign a paper that said my fee would go from $100.00 per visit to $150.00 per visit. I asked why and all I got was doubletalk. I said that I wanted to speak with my insurance company first, the woman at the front desk looked me straight in the eye and said that I could not have my session until I signed the paper. My reply was that I had not even met one dollar of my deductible and I would call tomorrow, since the offices are on the East coast and were closed for the day. At that point she said do you want the appointment or not? I politely told her no and I needed to talk to my insurance company first. I have to say, I have never seen a refund done so quick in my whole life. I then left without another word said. I had barely got home when I my phone rang. I answered it. It was Beth, my therapist. Robert, she said, what happened? I explained to her. Beth was the reason I kept going there. She knew how hard to push me and when to quit. I'm not going to involve any of the therapists in my review, this review is on the poorly run, money hungry business. I did call my insurance the next day and I was told that what CACC was trying to do was not allowed and I was NOT to sign anything. Today I called the supervisor of the front desk crew at CACC, her name was Misty. She spoke fast, which told me that I was wasting my time. I learned a long time ago, fast talkers never make any sense and the reason they talk at that speed is so the other party has no room to get a single word in and to completely confuse them to the point to which they just say ok to anything. I am now in search of an honest physical therapy company. Any help would be much appreciated.

First of all I would like to say that your experience with CACC is not customary and I apologize that you had a less than exceptional experience. I would love the chance to talk with you about our billing practices and try to explain to you, in a not so rushed manner, how the co-insurance and deductibles work with your plan. We verify every patient's insurance when they are new to our clinics and also if there is a change in insurance, as with your case. I can assure you that we do not collect anything from the patient towards their patient liability that would be considered fraudulent. CACC checks benefits as a courtesy to patients and we always encourage patients to call their health plans and verify any benefits we may have been quoted. I am happy to hear that you called your health plan to verify the information we reported to you as a result of our call to your health plan. By reading your feedback posted, I am hoping I can explain your benefits to you and help you understand the billing practices. We can even call your health plan together and work this out. Beth is an experienced and professional therapist and I am not surprised that you enjoy her therapy skills. I would like to get you back in to see her. I have been to CACC 2 times in the last 5 years for different surgeries. I had the same therapist both times. I have always been treated well there, my recovery was right on schedule both times. They are always well organized and professional.

CACC Physical Therapy

I have been to CACC following three (3) different surgical happenings, occuring from 2007 to 2012. I was professionally evaluated each time and the last two series of visits, I actually had the same Physical Therapist who knew exactly what she was doing. She actually diagnoised the last problem I had surgery to correct before I even went to my Spinal Specialist. I have referred both CACC and that excellant Therapist to several friends who have had medical issues necessitating physical therapy. Should I require another series of physical therapy, you can be positive I will return to the CACC facility and REQUEST the young lady who gave me such professional service. The facility was always clean and front desk people were friendly and very helpful. I also interacted with many of the other Physical Therapists and they were such nice AND respectful individuals.

I have been to CACC for three separate issues over the past 6 years, and each was an incredible experience. The PT's are very knowledgeable and care about their patients. They know when to take it easy on you, but maybe more importantly when to push you in order to achieve the results you want. I have been a patient there for Deep Needling for Tennis Elbow pain (WOW! Immediate relief!), for strengthening before surgery, and after double knee replacement (Yes, both on the same day!). They had me walking, running and playing sports again in a matter of weeks. Even though the rehab was challenging, it was made fun by the incredible people that I worked with at CACC.I would highly recommend CACC whether you have had surgery, an injury, or just need help with pain. Oh, and Vinton is an INCREDIBLE massage therapist! He can ease even the most stubborn of tight muscles and get you moving again.

Wonderful place and wonderful people

I started going to CACC last year because my knee was hurting bad. I actually thought I would have to have surgery. Alyssa was amazing! She found out that the muscles in my knee were just weak. With physical therapy once a week for a couple of months my knee felt amazing. Better than it has in years. Alyssa was wonderful. The staff are super helpful and very pleasant. I recommend anyone and everyone to CACC for their physical therapy needs. Thank you!

Very Disappointed Not Only With the Therapists, But CACC as a Whole

CACC has the appearance of a very excellent place to do physical therapy, however I was sorely disappointed with it. During my brief time there, which was only about 2.5 weeks, I had three different physical therapists. Since I was there as a result of a very serious accident (resulted in 8 broken bones and a myriad of joint problems), it was frustrating to have to teach three different people what my conditions were, whereas if I'd been able to stick with one person I would have spent more time doing therapy and not explaining what was wrong with me to 3 different people.The first person I had was incredible compared to the home therapy I'd been receiving; I felt as though she knew exactly what she was doing and what needed to be done to me in order to have the best chance at a full recovery. Unfortunately, she was just temporary and I only had her for half the time I was there.The second person I had seemed like he was fresh out of school and this was his first go at it. I understand everyone needs to start somewhere, but I think it's irresponsible to pair someone like myself who needed aggressive and intensive physical therapy with someone who clearly had never dealt with a patient who needed as complicated therapy as I did...I felt he should have been working with the person who just had a shoulder problem or something that only affected one part of their body. To make it worse, he would only spend not even 15 minutes actually working on me himself compared to the 30-45 minutes minutes the previous girl would spend, and the rest of the time I spent just doing the exercises I would do at home. Seriously??? What is the point of coming to physical therapy if I hardly get to work with a physical therapist??? Very unprofessional and disrespectful to my health and recovery.The third person worked with me throughout my entire time there, but was more of an assistant. Not only did he seem fairly clueless most of the time, but he was more interested in sitting around and munching on snacks than assisting in my therapy. What kind of professional environment is that???To top it all off, CACC schedules the same therapist with multiple patients for the exact same appointment time. So during my appointment my therapist would constantly be switching between me and another patient and I not once got their full and undivided attention. If I'm paying for an hour of physical therapy, I expect to receive an hour of time with a physical therapist! Is that so unreasonable? I don't think so.Overall, I feel the quality of physical therapy one receives is mostly dependent upon the therapist and not the establishment; however it seems like CACC is the 'corporate' version of physical therapy: patients are seen more as customers and not as people who are placing their health, recovery, care and trust in the company. I have since found a more 'mom and pop' physical therapy facility, and the difference is absolutely astounding. Don't waste your time at CACC!
