Who We Are……
Vic Corda, owner of the Cabinet Doctor, was a professional painter and decorator until 1980 when a woman called to say that her husband had ruined their kitchen cabinets and could he do something, anything, to repair the damage. Because of his knowledge and experience with paint and stains, Vic Successfully stripped the cabinets and then refinished them. The lady was delighted, told all of her friends, and several of them contracted Vic to refurbish their kitchens. Soon after, Vic became too busy with this new kitchen cabinet venture to also operate his painting business, so he turned the painting and decorating business over to his son. Vic alone updated over 700 kitchens before seeking help with the demand. Bothe Vic and Tom share a pride in producing an outstanding product. Tom’s background is in fine carpentry and finishing, and together, they are true artisans. The Cabinet Doctor is not a franchise, and does not subcontract. We are a family owned and operated business and yes, we do make house calls.

What We Do……..

Are your cabinets sick? We can refresh them by removing the dead finish, matching and blending the stain color and applying a new protective coating.

Do you need to update your kitchen? We can strip your cabinets and refinish or glaze them for a new look at a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen.

Do you want to change your kitchen’s look to contemporary, traditional or country? We can reface your cabinet frames and order new doors in your choice of style and finish. This product is a 14 step baked on finish, comparable to or better than new cabinets, and at about half the cost.

Are new appliances causing the need to add or change the size of cabinets? We can install the correct size cabinet and match the finish.

Do you want an island? We can customize an island to fit your kitchen and then finish it to match or contrast your existing kitchen.

The finishing touch to any kitchen is the addition of cabinet crown molding, hardware, roll-outs, tilts, glass doors and decorative elements. Adding these to your kitchen adds beauty and efficiency.

We do free estimates, are fully insured and handle insurance claims. We have a Dunn & Bradstreet rating and are highly rated on Angie’s List.
