What I enjoy about using C&E is that they don't require a credit card in order to come out to your place like some competitors do. They offer the flexbility of monthly payments and will send you bills. Payment is not required at time of service either. Their technicians have always been professional and courteous as well.

I recently used this company and was quoted a price for a module board. After installing the module board...I received a bill for twice the amount of labor charges. This company is shady. Be very careful of their unfair practices if you use them.

Mr. Parts Replacer

There are two different types of repairmen in any industry that does repairs.



The first are those that know what they are doing and actually go through and diagnose the problem correctly and then repair it and leave the repaired item in good working order. Knowing that they did the job right.



The second is what is known in the repair industries as parts replacers. They basically replace parts until the unit they are working on appears to function. Never knowing for sure weather it is actually fixed properly. These guys, usually end up having to come out two or three times to repair the same unit and end up costing the customer far more then they should have.



My experience with C&E Heating & Air conditioning is that at least the "Serviceman" that came out was a parts replacer. Got the unit working, and 30 minutes after he left it wasn't working any longer. After having a different company come out and take a look at it, it was found that the serviceman from C&E had replaced a bunch of parts unecessarily and in one case improperly and had failed to actually fix the problem and had only fixed the damage that was caused by the problem. Which of course meant what he replaced ended up having to be replaced again after the actual problem was fixed.



I would very sincerely warn against using this company for any of your heating and cooling needs.
