What is the initial consultation? Is that secret?

When you meet with an attorney at Bush & Levy, your initial consultation is free. Bush & Levy lawyers do not charge you for that first meeting, where introductions are made and you describe your situation to the Bush & Levy lawyer. The initial meeting is protected by confidentiality laws – Bush & Levy attorneys cannot reveal anything that you communicate during the consultation. However, this does not mean that an attorney-client relationship has been created.

Does a consultation mean you’ve hired Bush & Levy as your law firm?

Bush & Levy becomes your law firm only if you and the attorney agree that Bush & Levy is the right firm for your case. For example, you may have a very valid discrimination case, but Bush & Levy does not handle civil rights work and could not be of help to you.

Family Law As family – divorce lawyers, Bush & Levy family law attorneys help clients in all types of divorce and family matters, including divorce, annulment, child custody, child support, separation, spousal support, child visitation rights, along with adoptions, termination of parental rights cases, as well as domestic violence matters and child abuse and child neglect cases (CPS). Personal Injury Bush & Levy personal injury lawyers represent plaintiffs and their families to obtain monetary compensation for their losses. As experienced personal injury attorneys, they work with clients to settle cases prior to filing formal litigation, because a successful settlement in a short amount of time can be very beneficial to many families. However, if settlement negotiations with insurance company representatives do not bring a reasonable result, the personal injury lawyers at Bush & Levy will aggressively pursue the matter in an official, filed lawsuit if that is what is needed for the client to obtain justice. Battery Domestic Violence A seemingly small argument can escalate quickly between married couples, boyfriends and girlfriends, or relatives and before you know it the cops show up and you are being charged with Battery Domestic Violence. A domestic violence charge is taken very seriously in the state of Nevada.
