I had lost service of my irrigation pump during the hottest week of June. I called Burgess they came out assessed my needs, which I had told them was a 3 HP pump when it turned out that I really only needed a 2 HP pump. They could have easily sold me the more expensive pump. They professionally tested and installed my pump and refurbished my water supply line. My yard is loving it. Bob H. in Meridian

The techs are knowledgeable and could do the work.... but the problem is customer service, esp with the rude office staff. They don't really make appts, they just show up. I have a rental house, so i need to know when they are there, and i need them to call me, and speak to me about the work... not speak to the tenant. so they will make service calls where nothing is accomplished, and then bill you for it... but i was not called as to what the problem was or how to fix it. I have received invoices saying, "spoke to the tenant... i told her the system needs a new pump, this one is a mess, " and then i was billed $95. There was a new Pump sitting there in the house. if he had called me, he could have installed it. This has happened more than once. So the problem here is communication. Their office staff has refused to let you speak with the tech and literally hung up on me. Don't call them, too frustrating.

Nothing worse than having no water in your home....except no water in your home AND a brand new lawn! We called Burgess and they were out and fixed our pump the same day! Thank you!

Late and not finished

We wanted them to do some work in June, but they did nothing during June, or July or August so we thought they had lost interest, but then all of a sudden they showed up in late September and started taking everything apart. When they left, the system was completely unusable, so we will now hire someone else to finish the job.

Asked them to do some work for us in June, but they didn't show up, so we thought they were just not interested. They unannounced they showed up in late September and just started taking things apart. When they left, the irrigation system was unusable...we will call someone else to finish the job and restore the system to a usable state.

This place sucks

My truck broke down at the intersection in front of their business. Their parking lot was the only place I could push it out of rush hour traffic. I thanked the two guys who stopped to help me push the truck and grabbed my cell phone to call for help. Before I could use the speed dial to call my wife, a woman came out and told me I would have to move my truck. I tried to explain that I lived within a half mile and I would have it moved as soon as I could get a hold of someone to help me tow it but she continued to rudely tell me it had to move because of insurance reasons. It had been there less than one minute, if she had shut her rude pie hole I would have already been making the call. She told me she would have to call the management and stormed inside. Less than five minute later I was rolling out of their parking lot. If this woman is any representation of the company then Satan will need a parka before they ever see any of my money.
