Bob Joneth in Raleigh handled a difficult chronic fatigue type case for me which was ultimately successful. He did a good job of coaching me through the hearing and tracking paperwork to meet all deadlines. I was denied partly because my MD didn't properly document my case, causing the judge to reject his testimony. Luckily I asked to see a neuropsychologist when I noticed problems with loss in my short term visual memory and this led to a diagnosis social security accepted and won the case. The office is a bit dated and I would have appreciated more information with tips on applying for SSA disability benefits on a website so that I could do more to help the case. I also would have appreciated them checking the second MD's notes at the beginning of care to make sure the new doctor was properly documenting my disabilities in case the neuropsych testing wasn't conclusive so that I could be alerted if a problem existed and get the doctor to comply or switch doctors. I wasn't aware that so much was depending on them and I think that without the testing I'm not sure the second MD's notes were adequate to ensure I wouldn't be stuck appealing the case past the 4 years I already had to wait for a favorable decision. This was too important not to mention and I'm taking a star away for it. There was a couple of emails that weren't answered but generally they were good about staying in communication. Their advice was good and I liked working with them.
