Best in Town
by Sonny , 03/12/2015
The city of Prescott has many gun stores to choose from as many are aware. However, by far the best in town is Bucky's. I have purchased firearms and miscellaneous supplies from Bucky's, as well as sold firearms through them. The staff at Bucky's have always treated me extremely well, taking the time to answer my questions and help guide me with my selection. They have never failed to leave me with the satisfaction that accompanies great value. Every time, without exception. Period.

Bucky O'Neill's is the friendliest gun store I've found in Prescott. They also have great prices. It has become my "go to" store for firearms. I agree with the five-star reviews below.
Best in the West!

Can't say enough good things about Jim and Dave! Have bought many guns from them, as well as shipping online orders to them over the past two years. Honest, knowledgable... did I mention the cute dogs Jim has? Always enjoy stopping by to chat and swill a cup'a Joe... and learn from them: my go-to dealers! Want Rudeness? Go to the elitists at J&G!
Great place to go if you want a blown gun

Square deals and square meals! If you never are there when they serve their "Over and Under" Burger, your in luck. Sometime they by lunch for there folks and custamers get a bite! Funny tho, one of the guys is tall and skinny and tuther one is wide. I think I knew which eats mote of the burger! ps I ALWAYS GET MY STUFF THERE TOO.

I have been going to those guys for years. It's pretty silly if someone doesn't understand the concept of supply/demand and market value. Those guys have always been honest and forthcoming about anything I have dealt with them over...to include the rising cost of ammo and ARs. I have a choice of either buying, or not. Welcome to a free-market economy. That said, they have always treated me like family, to include staying open late for me when I needed them to, or opening on a Sunday morning so I could buy targets and ammo to go shoot. Go in, make an introduction, stop in regularly to make yourself known, and I promise they will make you feel like family. You won't be disappointed with the experience!
My favorite Gun Store in the Prescott Area
by Citizen At Large , 01/01/2013
When I first moved back to the area, I visited all of the shops in the area. Dave & Jim treated me right as soon as I walked into the door. Knowledgeable and friendly folks there.

Was quoted $850 over the phone for a M&P 15 which is normally $650 but decided to buy it because of the high demand and inability to find many AR's right now. Got to the gun shop and was waiting in line and he told everyone in line he was raising the price to $2000. What??? I walked out and went to a great gun store in Chino and got a fair price on an AR. Will never shop here again and I had bought from here in the past.

One more review, I forgot to add I also saw the store take advantage of a younger guy buying a very used Bushmaster with a 20" barrel which was worth probably 850.00 and they robbed him for 2000.00!! Really I know I'm not the only one that thinks this was wrong. If you shop here better watch your wallet so you don't get your wallet picked!!!!!

Can believe what I saw there a 700.00 gun being sold for 2300.00. Highway robbery of our gun owners. Never buy guns there!!!!!!!!!!!!
