A friend and I went to an B-B-Q party this restaurant had advertised on the radio. The atmosphere was okay; the service was good; the ribs were tasteless and rubbery; the beans were fabulous; the pork was very good. I tried the three sauces that were on the table. One I especially liked. I used quite a bit of it. Half hour later my friend and I went to the car. I started feeling VERY, VERY sick. I thought I was dying. Dizzy, hot, sweaty, clammy. Wow! I did not know what to think. About 20 minutes later I totally hurled (then I felt better). My friend and I had eaten the same food but he did not have the sauce I had. I guessed this is what made me sick--possibly it had been istting out all day in the heat? Next day I emailed the restaurant, not really to complain but to let them know what happened to prevent someone else from getting sick from the sauce (if indeed that's what it was). They e-mailed back a very rude message denying that the sauce could have been the problem and if I was not happy with the restaurant, don't come back. I won't! I do not recommend this place. Enter at your own risk!

We went with hopes that this would be good BBQ, we were wrong. I ordered the brisket and the baby back ribs. The brisket was okay, but the ribs were not good at all. It felt like everything was taken out of the fridge and heated. The rib meat didn't fall off the bones and it was still slightly cold. I was hoping all 6 sauces would be on the table to try them all out...but at the time you order is when you have to decide what sauce you want.

This place has excellent pork, chicken, brisket and ribs.

The baked beans are the best I've ever had and they offer 5 kinds of sauce and 3 kinds of cole slaw.

Best BBQ in Tucson.
