At Brush Creek Landscaping, we believe in tree preservation and maintaining healthy trees and forests by developing sound management strategies and using wise management practices based on science. Since 2001, we have been providing high quality, timely and environmentally friendly tree care to Colorado mountain communities.
Steven Tarrant, the founder of B.C.L. & Urban Forestry has worked in the tree care industry since 1991. He is a Certified Arborist with ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) and a Member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Arborist.
He has prepared and directed the implementation of wildfire mitigation, Landscape management plans and direct control mountain pine beetle efforts for several homeowners associations and developers including The Town of Vail and Breckenridge, Vail Resorts, Cordillera Valley Club, The Squaw Creek Metro District, Highlands at Breckenridge H.O.A., and the ECO Trails.
Municipalities and homeowner associations and county governments rely upon B.C.L. & Urban Forestry as a primary source of tree health care and preservation information and implementation.
To insure your trees receive proper, state-of-the-art treatment, key personnel attend training sessions sponsored by the Tree Care Industry Association, International Society of Arborists and Colorado State University. Our crews have the expertise and equipment to enhance the health and aesthetic quality of your trees and forest. B.C.L. & Urban Forestry crews are equipped with a 14” diameter capacity wood chipper, 75’ boom, chipbox truck, Stump Grinder, chainsaws, ASV with grapple buckets, a tree shear attachment and a 14-yard loader trailer to haul non-chippable materials.
B.C.L. maintains a staff of 6 during the summer season. Crew bosses with B.C.L. have a minimum of two years felling experience and have completed the training required in the B.C.L. Job Enrichment Training Program. Laborers may have minimal experience but must have completed the new hire safety program. All crewmembers must complete safety orientation and attend weekly safety meetings and daily “job safety reviews”.
Brush Creek Landscaping is dedicated to providing you with the best tree care in the Rocky Mountains and has the employees, the attitude, the training and the equipment to deliver.
