Go elsewhere. Poor knowledge of fans and options

Purchased 2 fans. One for kitchen table which is fine. Other one is for our dining room which is not good at all. Fan should be lower due to 12' ceiling salesman said a 2' extension was enough it's not. Also light fixture only has 30w bulbs which are useless in the dining room. Salesman didn't advise us on a light fixture with brighter bulbs. Wanted to exchange it for a different one but they do not take exchanges you have to buy a new unit! They do not do their own install so they have you go thru a private company. Was told the install would be $50 per fan or $100 but after all kind of add one bill was $200. All in all a bad experience. We should have gone with Lighting First as they were more accommodating than Brothers. Buyer beware if you don't know the questions to ask our salesman didn't offer any alternatives.

This place is terrific. It has the most remarkable chandeliers, pendants and bathroom lights. The ceiling fans are the coolest..literally. The tropical and contemporary models are the best that I have seen anywhere. I spoke with Bobby on the sales floor and he was so honest and friendly. Great experience!

The true measure of a business is how they work with customers when they have a problem with their purchase. I am a former President and Publisher of a 400,000 circulation newspaper and have worked with advertisers and businesses for over 25 years. My experience with Brothers lighting, in my opinion, was disappointing yet clarifying. My wife and I returned to Brothers lighting after a successful purchase of a fan for the lanai. We worked with the same sales person again to purchase three more fans. We explained we needed one for the bedroom, living room and one for the office. After we had all three fans installed by E & Son Electric (great company) the fan in the office began to have problems. The remote that came with fan would turn the light on the fan one in every 10 times it was used. Their were two halogen lights on the fan and one would turn off after 1 minute. The problem continued for a couple of days so I decided to call Brothers lighting (the fan was installed on Wed. and it is now Fri.). My salesperson was not there, however, I had the pleasure of talking to the manager (Charles). I explained to him what my issues were with the fan and that the fan must be defective. Charles said that there are no exchanges, returns or repairs by Brothers Lighting. He offered an 800 number to call the company and said sorry all sales are final. I fell back in my chair and thought, I just got fired as a customer. I said don't you stand by the products you sell? His was response was, if we had to deal with all the customers who called us with issues we would never get anything done. I was amazed that their was not even a hint of concern about my fan not working properly. The conversation ended with Charles saying he was busy and had to go. Since this experience if have done some checking online and found the following: In my opinion their website comment section has been turned off. Also, the Facebook page they reference is a developer page (Facebook) and in my opinion misleads you into believing they have lots of likes, when they are actually Facebook's likes. In my opinion if more people write reviews maybe Charles will solve the issues at the store avoiding having to respond to them online.

We love Brothers! This place is just AMAZING! All the chandelier family groups are together so I can see everything- wow. These folks have years of experience and you feel the difference as soon as you walk in the door. We were given such low prices, terrific sales who helped us with every detail of our lights and fans...., so much needed education. We realized we did not need a designer with this type of organization available right here in Fort Myers! Who knew?

I bought a beautiful mosaic chandelier in May from Brothers Lighting. The salesman, Joe, was very helpful in sizing the fixture and explaining the wattages. The item now hangs in my dining room and all of my friends give me compliments when they see it. I am extremely happy with the sales and service at Brothers Lighting and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Are you kidding? We're new to the area and fell upon Brothers. Very happy we did. Sales staff was very helpful, very knowledgeable and not over bearing. We are outfitting a new home and need many fans and lights. Everything was done efficiently, timely and when it came time for delivery and installation they were most helpful.Someone else might be as good but couldn't be better. Super showroom as well.

I shopped every box store & lighting showroom in the Fort Myers area. Thank goodness I found Brothers Lighting. They had all the product in stock and the customer service was the best of all the stores. I recommend Brothers to everyone.

I have gone to a lot of different lighting stores and Brothers is by far the best. There selection is beyond amazing and there employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. There two story showroom with there huge atrium is phenomenal.This is by far the best showroom I have seen in Florida!

From the moment you walk in to this store you get the feeling that "we're doing you a favor to serve you". I should have walked out right then. Instead I foolishly placed an order. When my order was overdue and I called (several times) to check on the status, each time I was promised that someone would call me right back. Sure! Good luck. One time when I called back I was told that the person I had talked to was too busy with other customers. Do not go to this place! Go to Ferguson where they understand what service is all about.
