Brookside Elementary School actively involves all children in becoming life-long learners, and provides a foundation for students to reach their full potential through a comprehensive state-aligned curriculum. It provides classes in grades kindergarten through five, and offers instruction in various subjects, such as language arts, social studies, math, science, music, and health and physical education. The school provides special education programs for talented and gifted students, and has a fully equipped library. It operates a federally approved lunch programs, and has been nationally recognized as a No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon School. The school has a parent-teacher association, and is located in Oak Park, Calif.
