At Tidewind Sport Fishing in Brookings, Oregon, we can help you enjoy the outdoors like never before. If you have ever visited or lived in the Northwest, then you know that the natural beauty found here is like nowhere else in the world. Brookings is located on the Oregon / California boarder 25 minutes south of Gold Beach Oregon and 25 minutes north of Crescent City California. Among our list of activities, we can take you deep sea sport fishing, whale watching, sightseeing, lighthouse cruise and bird watching.

We are a family operated private charter boat company with 16 years of operation out of the Port of Brookings Harbor. In order to ensure your safety, our boats are Coast Guard inspected and our Captains are 100 Ton Master licensed. We have 3 charter boats the 43 ft SUPER STAR, 36 ft BOTTOM LINE and the 36 ft TIDEWINDS. We can accomodate large parties, families and we can take the single fisherman. We are able to provide you uncrowded adventure trips and fishing excursions all year round. Weather permitting of course.

During our bottom fishing trips, you can look forward to catching a wide variety of rockfish, snapper and ling cod. Our fishing grounds are a 20-40 minute cruise from the port. We use light tackle style for the most fun and fish action. The depth we fish is from 40 to 150 feet of water. Near shore, so you can see land. We also offer tuna or albacore fishing in the summer.

We provide all your tackle gear and bait. There is complimentary coffee, tea, cocoa and snacks on board. We serve lunch and fillet your fish at no additional charge.

In addition, when you lose a loved one and choose to honor them by having a funeral at sea or scattering their ashes, we can assist you.
