My Father has Iowa Care and has a very low income forcing him to go to Broadlawns. We recently had to switch over his prescriptions to the Broadlawns pharmacy. The Pharmacy staff is rude, slow, and not competent. I have been calling them since December 27th and it is now January 3rd to see if the doctor has responded to the request for refills...each day they stated that the doctor did not reply. Today I called only to find out that the reply from the doctor was sent on December 27. If you go to get prescriptions, the lines are long. If you call to speak to someone you get placed on never ending hold. They need to evaluate the layout of their pharmacy to make it more functional, they need to monitor and evaluate their employees and managers to find out how to be more productive.
