Went for lunch on a Monday for the Lunch Special. As we ordered the Special, the bartender advised the Brix doesn't honor Lunch Specials on holidays (this day was MLK day). There was no indication on their website or on any advertisement that they wouldn't honor the Lunch Special on holidays.



Anyway, we ordered the Specials (Fugedaboutit and Top of The Heap), which the bartender said are the best. We paid the regular price and didn't complain about it. We're giving Brix one star for the following reasons:

1) pastrami was overcooked

2) pastrami too salty

3) sandwiches were small

4) service VERY slow, in spite of the place being uncrowded

5) deceitful advertising. No mention of Lunch Specials unavailable on website, or on any menu. For customer goodwill, at least they could have offered the special since we made the trip down and blew our gasoline to get there.



For a much better pastrami (taste and size) try Katelli Deli in Los Alamitos, or even Tommy Pastrami. Their service is quicker and they haven't been deceitful in their advertising
