Description
Dr. Negru's dental education started in California, at California State University, Fullerton, where he completed his undergraduate education obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. During his undergraduate school he worked at a medical genetics laboratory.Dr. Negru earned his dental degree at Loma Linda University graduating in 1996. He graduated in the top 10% of his class earning his way into one of the most respected honorary memberships, "Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honorary Dental Society".
In the summer of 1997 Dr. Negru opened a private practice in Aloha, Oregon where he has been practicing since. During this time he has furthered his education through a number of continuing education classes. Dr. Negru completed numerous continuing education classes in cosmetic dentistry and is a continuum member at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Negru was awarded the Fellowship Award from the American Association of General Dentist. He is a member of American General Dentistry Association, American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Washington County Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Bright Smile Dental Care Definitely Cares by Astra - 08/19/2009It's not very often that there are dentists that are competent, concerned for you and your teeth, professional, friendly, inviting, and people you'd want to go back to. I had two previous dentists that were either only one of those or none of those, which is very unfortunate.However, at Bright Smile Dental, I have found Dr. Negru and every single one of his staff members a welcome exception. Dr. Negru is friendly, but professional. Unlike my previous dentists, he actually does work on my teeth more than just to say "yep, they're fine." While working on my teeth, he continually checks up on me to make sure I am okay. Every time in the dentist's chair, I always know, whether it be Dr. Negru, or one of his hand-picked dental hygienists/assistants, that my teeth are in excellent hands and care. Everyone is competent and Bright Smile Dental has my trust and satisfaction. I would recommend them to any of my friends. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give them 50!
Efficient, gentle, pleasant Dentist by HCS - 07/30/2009About 7 years ago my wife and I had been looking for a friendly, proficient dentist, one preferably in our area. When Bright Smile Dental was located off TV Highway, my wife and I saw the sign advertising their services. So, for our next dental visit my wife called to schedule our whole family for dental check ups. We have never regretted that decision.Since that time Bright Smile has relocated. Fortunately, where it is now is still centrally located and easy to find. The waiting area has a relaxing atmosphere and is kept very tidy. The space for the dental work is high tech, using electronic recording keeping of dental information.One major procedure Dr. Negru did for me was to replace my front tooth. He removed my old one and put on a new one. While he was removing my old tooth, I felt no discomfort. No one can even tell that the tooth is a replica and not my own. Dentist that insists on being on the cutting edge by CSutton - 07/02/2009Dr. Negru has been my dentist since 2002. I have found his work to be competent and efficient. A few years ago he performed my root canal. I had always heard how painful and scary root canals were, but Dr. Negru was gentle, patient, and highly qualified while doing this procedure for me. In addition, Dr. Negru constantly seeks to continue his education and training, learning new dental techniques that benefit the patient. More recently, I had a crown completed in just one visit. Was I ever surprised when I left the dentist’s office with my new crown, all the work being completed on the same day without having to return later. I discovered in his quest to continue to learn, he had mastered the procedure to make completing the crown in a single visit possible.Dr. Negru and his staff are pleasant and professional individuals that care about putting you at ease during your dental visit. An incredible place by Claudia - 05/17/2009My experience at BSDC was phenomenal. The staff at BSDC is very friendly, enthusiastic, kind and hospitable. Always putting their customer’s interest first! The environment is very clean, and the waiting periods weren’t too long. Dr. Negru is very knowledgeable and passionate about the work that he does. Before he performs a procedure, he will sit down with you and run over all the steps. I was impressed with one of his statements: “I work on your mouth as if I were working on my own” and that’s exactly how he works. He’s very professional, precise, gentle, and careful when he works. As a person, he’s very understanding and easy to get along with.
Friendly and Relaxing Atmosphere by pjwag - 05/15/2009I have never been to a dentist that has made me feel this relaxed. Dr. Negru is very gentle and pain free. All the staff is so friendly and make you feel that you�re not just a patient, that you�re a friend. I loved it when I got my last crown. There was no waiting with a temporary I left the office with my permanent one on. He is wonderful with children as well as any age. I would recommend him to everyone
